Last night was one of those surreal moments in my life wherein I was able to do something that I never did , and never thought I’d do, in my entire life. I’m a girl who loves comfort, and standing for four+ hours, in a sea of 70,000 people, in a very hot place is not my cup of tea, but I did it anyway for the love of Chris Brown and Rihanna! Just charge it to experience that I was able to do something wild in my younger years ! Haha!

Chris Brown was the one who performed first, and boy, oh boy, he was an excellent dancer! Aside from singing, he also showed his dance moves, including dancing to the tune of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Very very sexy. My God. Haha.

Anyway, my purpose in writing this entry is how impressed I am with Rihanna. I’ve never been a huge fan of Rihanna, I must admit I went there mainly for Chris Brown ( since I LOVE his songs! Such a disappointment that he didn’t sing Superhuman ), but then, Rihanna was such a great performer that I loved her performance better than Chris Brown with her super fantastic vocals, super dance moves, attitude on stage ( rar! ) and…HER MAKEUP!!!!

I was able to see her makeup, up close, on the big screen, and her makeup was just flawless. Starting with her complexion, the makeup done was so flawless, and so longwearing that it was so hot in the venue, and she was already perspiring, but no trace of makeup melting. Very impressive. Her eye makeup was full of glitters – sparkly, glittery silver eye makeup, all over the lids in cat-eye shape, with thick eyeliner defining the lashlines, both on the upper and lower part, still with a line of glitters on the lower lashline to complete that totally glam rockstar look. My bestbud and I agreed on the same thing for the night, despite me jumping around and her looking at me amusedly, silently enjoying the concert – we agreed that her lip color was just go-go-go-gorgeous. The shade was nude but not pale-nude, it had color, a light-brown-nude, in my eyes. The lip color looked very creamy on the lips, but also semi-glossy. Here you see a closeup that her lipliner shows, but it didn’t matter since we were so far away already ! The makeup was just so so so longwearing that I’m so impressed! I hope to be able to do something like that in the future.

Now, let me just say that Rihanna has gained a new fan in me, music-wise, but beauty-wise also. Her features are flawless, her makeup artist’s brilliant, and she’s beautiful!

Let me end this entry by sharing to you my favorite part of the concert, when she sang with Chris Brown, a remix of her hit song, “Umbrella!”

She’s spokesperson for Covergirl, but I don’t know what she actually uses! My initial guess is Kryolan, for being that long lasting, but MAC Full Coverage can also do that! I love her glow!

Nikki and Kia : Looks like it! I love her nails tew! :)
