This new kind of mascara certainly got my attention as it more than confirmed my belief that in this day and age, nothing is impossible, specially in the realm of beauty. We’re all so lucky right now that imperfections don’t really matter anymore because everything could be fixed. Well, not really “fixed” - more on highlighting features, and dragging our problem areas into shadows!
For me, the eyes are the most important part of the face. You need to groom your eyebrows to give more attention to the eyes, you need to de-puff and take care of your eye area so as to keep looking youthful and un-stressed, and there are many, many ways to open up the eyes, such as curling the lashes, defining them via eyeliner, and applying mascara.
Now, as for mascara, there are two kinds of mascara. One kind is the volumizing one, which makes the strands of your lashes thicker, and there is a lengthening one, which makes your lashes look longer. Some can also do both. But either way, a mascara is used to draw more attention to the eyes, and intensifying the eyes. It’s such a huge difference when one wears mascara, as versus not wearing any. P&G Beauty scientists created the innovative CoverGirl ExactEyelights formula by starting with a dark, rich mascara base to define lashes and heighten contrast with the white of the eye, then adding light-reflecting metallic spheres to create a light source and custom color micro-beads for each of the four shades to match your specific eye color. When the mascara is applied to lashes, the metallic spheres sit on the surface of each lash and act as little mirrors, capturing and reflecting light to bring attention to the eye area. However, one “light” doesn’t fit all eye colors. Therefore, each CoverGirl ExactEyelights shade is formulated with different combinations of color beads to customize the generic “white” light created by the metallic spheres into a specific “color of light” for brightening a specific eye color.
Each formulation derives from the three principles of palette design, which take into account melanin level, best way to achieve brightness and color-specific light and filter. I’m very impressed with the technology, but I also hope that this is would fare good in being waterproof, and clump-free application.

is this mascara already available here in p.i.? i’ve been searching for a good mascara cause i’m a mascara fan and i wear them everyday. i want to try this new mascara from CG. for a drug store brand, their products are really good.
