Bath time is luxury time that you get to slough off the day’s stress, or wake up to a glorious morning feeling refreshed. For me, bath time is sacred to the nth power because I feel so refreshed and re-energized everytime I step out of the shower!
I just discovered H20 Plus bath products, and with its Sea Marine Collection, let me just say that it is indeed possible to turn your shower or bathroom into a luxurious spa experience with these products! Let me explain why, and how!
First of all, let’s do a run-through of the ingredients of these bath products, on why it’s spa-worthy!
Sea Mineral Complex™ – H20 Plus’ exclusive system, designed to deliver key ingredients to the skin, is comprised of sea-derived Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium.
Anti-Aging Blend – (Himanthalia, Spirulinu, Nori) Boosts the effectives of the reparative work done naturally by the skin. Rich in a full complex of minerals including Calcium, Potassium, Copper, Phosphorus, Magnesium and Iron.
Triple Butter Hydrating Blend – Shea, Cocoa and Mango Butter are combined to provide ultra-luxurious, long-lasting hydration.
Crithmum Maritimum – A marine botanical that supplies oxygen-rich nourishment to the skin.
Zostera Marina Extract – A marine botanical that helps accelerate collage synthesis and increase epidermal water to maintain skin hydration.
Vitamin complex – (Vitamin A, B, C and E) Increases the skin’s elasticity while delivering an intensive level of antioxidant properties to help repair and prevent cell damage in the tissues.
Okay, so as you step in the shower, you’d want to create the atmosphere of the spa – which is tres, tres fragrant. My latest discovery, and best, best product within the range, in my opinion, is their H20 Sea Marine Shower Scent. I thought it was some body mist, but it went on too strong on my skin. Apparently, it’s supposed to be sprayed inside the shower room ( or bathroom ). The moment I did that, the scent just spread across the room, and it was very very relaxing, and oh boy, my shower truly smelled like a spa! My baby sister even exclaimed, “hey this smells like Ace Water Spa!”. How nice it is!
I always, always make it a point to condition my hair during bath time to make hair look good, and of course, manageable. I was able to try the Sea Marine Intensive Hair Repair Conditioner, let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes. To me, it would act as a good everyday conditioner since my hair is very dry and damaged, that I’d want something really extremely intense! But this is great for everyday use as my hair is softer, and definitely looking pampered after using this!
Next, the Sea Marine Purifying Shower Cream is a more mellowed down scented body wash from the collection, that smells more cooling eucalyptus to me. It was very refreshing, and I certainly felt my skin really cleansed with this relaxing scent!
After some gentle cleansing, there are days when you’d love to give way to new skin, and just indulge in body exfoliation. I do this once or twice a week to give way to new, and softer skin since old skin just doesn’t look good. I love, love, love the Sea Marine Triple Butter Sugar Scrub because well, the jar is huge, and will probably last me half a year, and it feels like well, coarse sugar that I really feel the exfoliation on my body! A plus is that it smells great. Very sea-ish.
Last but not the last, as the luxurious bath time is over, the skin is damp, the pores are still somewhat open, and there’s a last chance to put something on the body to retain moisture. The Sea Marine Triple Butter Body Cream is not too sticky or gooey on the skin, as I was able to actually tolerate it being applied on various parts of my body. Plus, the smell wasn’t too overpowering that definitely won my vote for it. The moisturizing factor is good. Not too intense, but good enough.
Overall, my favorite product amongst the collection would be the Shower Scent. It definitely sets the mood for an incredible bath experience! Shower-”layering”, or using same scents would definitely not interrupt the “zen” in the bathroom, and might just successfully lull you to sleep! I love it! The scent of this collection is a total winner, in my book. I’d love to smell like this every single time!
