Shu Uemura is one of the best ( I mean BEST ) makeup brands out there, and I can just say that it is such a happy day for me and the Swiper as we were able to see the brand open its own flagship store/boutique, yes, on its own, in Powerplant Mall, yesterday. The Shu Uemura brand definitely deserves a store on its own – no debates, no questions! Haha!

Before the unveiling, the Shu Uemura Boutique was mysteriously covered in black velvet curtains. I was definitely helping myself from peeking inside, but I think I did. Once. Haha!

The opening was attended by celebrities, socialites, and beauty enthusiasts who were very excited to see the store open, as well as check out the testers of the collection, which was complete, except for the Mika Collection , Shu Uemura‘s holiday collection that hasn’t arrived yet.


Well, beauty bloggers like me and the Swiper just CANNOT miss this out!

Shu Uemura’s dual-tipped corrector pens! One swipe, and I’m in love!

Now it’s official. L’Oreal Philippines has just opened the Shu Uemura Boutique to satisfy the cult following of Shu Uemura makeup, and skin care. Must-try’s on my list for the next couple of months? Definitely their lipsticks. I’ve gotten a copy of their local Black Book, and boy, the lip color’s to die for ! I’d be scanning them for a future entry for you gals.
