The first talk I’ve done was about mineral makeup, about a year ( or two ) ago at De La Salle University, for their LEAP ( Lasallian Enrichment Alternative Program). I talked about mineral makeup in two batches, with a morning and afternoon session, each session with around 40 people. I could never forget that day, because someone asked me, “Are you a makeup artist?”. That day ignited my fire for pursuing makeup artistry because I finally realized that this passion of mine was undeniable.
Fastforward about a year ( or two ) from that moment, here I am with my good friend/classmate Brigitte holding Project Beauty : A Makeup Workshop. Aside from our love for applying makeup, we also have this unexplainable love for teaching, since Brigitte’s past resume includes her being a professor ( yes! ) in a university, and well, way back during high school and college, I just loved doing presentations! Haha!

We were able to teach three batches : One morning, and afternoon session for October 5, and one afternoon session for October 11. We were able to teach the participants basics in makeup application that starts from skin care, to getting familiar with various makeup brushes ( their new friends! ), and applying makeup on themselves that would help them achieve a more polished look in the workplace, at school, and transform them into night looks. We capped the sessions with a brief introduction to mineral makeup, something that I strongly recommend for everyday use because of its benefits.
Well, for some pictures of our lovely participants?

We had so much fun talking, teaching, and learning with you girls! The sessions ended with Brigitte and I agreeing that we just love doing this, getting to help girls enjoy their newfound pastime ( makeup, what else! haha ), and their newfound confidence within themselves. Amongst everything, we hope that in our own way, we’ve contributed some sunshine to the world as more smiling women get ready to face the world everyday.
Special thanks to our special guests, our local, in-demand beauty bloggers,

To all the ladies who’ve spent their time, and effort with us, thank you so much for making this first series of workshops fun-filled ones! We’d be back by November for another series - stay tuned!
