The Little Darlings Collection can be given as a gift to friends, as a set, or if you are sort of in a budget, but still want to give stylish and nice gifts, specially if your friends are beauty/ makeup addicts, you can always divide the set, and give your friends one of each, say the mini-lipglasses or the mini-sized pigments, which if I may say, are more than enough for one already!

Red is definitely the color of the season. Just one look at these babies, and I think it would send me rushing to the nearest MAC Cosmetics counter to get me some. When I went home from the opening of the Shu Uemura Boutique in Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, I went home with a yummy lootbag that contained several Shu Uemura products in sample sizes.

They were full of cleansing oil samples, and me not being quite ready to jump in the cleansing oil bandwagon since my skin is oily ( sigh, give me time, ladies ), what caught my eye were the white bottles of Shu Uemura Pleasure of Bath Bath Oil. Apparently, it wasn’t only me that seemed intrigued with it. Light years ahead of getting excited over them was my mom, a bath oil, and body oil fanatic.

Shu Uemura is one of the best ( I mean BEST ) makeup brands out there, and I can just say that it is such a happy day for me and the Swiper as we were able to see the brand open its own flagship store/boutique, yes, on its own, in Powerplant Mall, yesterday. The Shu Uemura brand definitely deserves a store on its own – no debates, no questions! Haha!

Before the unveiling, the Shu Uemura Boutique was mysteriously covered in black velvet curtains. I was definitely helping myself from peeking inside, but I think I did. Once. Haha!

The opening was attended by celebrities, socialites, and beauty enthusiasts who were very excited to see the store open, as well as check out the testers of the collection, which was complete, except for the Mika Collection , Shu Uemura‘s holiday collection that hasn’t arrived yet.

I can’t say brrr enough for the weather has been dragging me back to bed every morning. The air’s just too chilly and comfortable that you’d want to hibernate like a bear! Don’t you agree?

But despite of the low temperature, what gets me fired up this time of the year? Pampering and beauty rituals, of course! I know, it’s been a year-round promise to take care of my skin and my body, but when it’s colder, it’s more of a must-do than a routine!

Anyway, here are the rituals that I’ve been doing extra to aim for being a beautiful ice princess. Oh, I mean being beautiful in this weather! Haha!

Cold Weather Skin Decrypted, “NEED MORE MOISTURE!”
This is the time of the year when you’ll notice that your skin is drier than usual, and can experience cracks on some parts of the skin, such as the feet, and chapping lips. With the drying air, add up your airconditioning unit that keeps you cozy at night, it’s-a-dryfest alright! Therefore, we are all compelled to…moisturize!
