True Love Alert : Artdeco’s Bronzing Compact

Contouring is an art that I’ve fallen in love with. Creating shadows. Subdue-ing features. Chiseling. Contouring must be one of the nicest things I’ve learned from makeup school. I swear, it does magic!

With my playing around with various contouring products, I have found one true love. Yes, just one true love that my Stila Contour Set won’t even match- it’s Artdeco’s Bronzing Compact.

Givin` the Hair Some Luscious Coco Lovin` from Zen Zest!

Now that my hair is shorter and it’s chemically treated, extra care for it has been an agenda of mine for everyday. Imagine my happy disposition when I got these babies from Zen Zest : A bottle of Revitalizing Coconut Shampoo and a bottle of Intensive Coconut Conditioner. When I hear coconut – I equate it with the words, “intense moisture” since it’s the ultimate “moisturizer” not only for the hair, but also for the skin! Well, this is worth a roadtest to see what I think of it!

My Bangkok Beauty Haul

I promise, I really wasn’t able to shop alot of beauty stuff from Bangkok because of its irresistible bargain prices in the clothes department! Gosh, but then, I could not let a trip pass me by without some beauty shopping! Woohoo!

Over at the Paragon Plaza, guess what I first bought!!! My smile was sooo big that my friends thought I was crazy – A BOBBI BROWN SHIMMERING NUDES EYESHADOW PALETTE! So nice that prices were slashed 10% off for the weekend! I was the happiest gal on earth that day, I swear!

Bangkok : A Beauty Blogger’s Report

goofing around the Grand Palace. Such a lovely place ( such a lovely place )

One thought…and to think I was not looking forward to this trip!

I was dreading to go to Bangkok a few weeks ago because for one, that would mean me not attending the Philippine Blog Awards, and two, I was saving up for something that I did not want to splurge last weekend. Well, the trip with my girlfriends was booked months before, so might as well push with it.

BUT BOY I WAS WRONG! Bangkok made me CRAZY. And I mean CRAZY!

Ponds’ Pinkish White Dream Date With Piolo and Dingdong

Piolo Pascual and Dingdong Dantes – just mentioning even one of their names causes a stir, moreso, maybe a screech coming from a lady ( over swooning or being a crazed up fan ), what more if you bring these two together? Armageddon. I could say, if I get to spend a day with both of them, I would really doubt my self-existence that day, and maybe think that I’m really really in heaven or in a really deep coma. Hahahaha!

Shedding off some of my crazed up tendencies with Piolo and Dingdong, two of the biggest stars on Philippine Television, me and my beauty blogging girlfriends Phoebe, Shen, and Brigitte attended the Ponds Pinkish White Dream Date Press Launch, which was to promote their contest, to win a date with Dingdong Dantes, or Piolo Pascual.

To join, read this :

Makeup Artist Escapades : My Photoshoot Weekend

Last weekend was a dream to me. I know, I’m not the sporty kind who indulges and commits to do some jogging, or swimming every weekend as I get off from work, but if makeup artistry were a sport, I’d gladly take it and definitely commit to do it every weekend!

Applying makeup, as Brigitte and I have agreed, is very draining. It’s challenging that it creative juices pop out of your mind, as you bring a vision to life – your idea of beauty. It takes up alot of energy, and I still love it, and, and, and, I wonder if it would help me lose weight? hahaha!

The Art of Removing Makeup

so how can you ladies take it off? It just stays there like forevar?

That was a reply from Fritz, only one of the funniest bloggers in my country, when I Plurked this morning about me trying a product that claims to make my makeup rub-proof, budge-proof and waterproof. Yes, from whatever works of art we create on our faces to either polish our look or add more drama to our eyes, they all have to be washed out and removed by the end of the day because after all, we need our faces bare as they were when our day started, and the day must end that way. Makeup can momentarily cover some flaws, add some definition to our features, but they still need to be removed because they can bind with the dirt on our face, and cause our skin to breakout.

So, how do we exactly remove makeup from our face?

How To Take Care Of Your Skin, The Skin Hour Way

Skincare is the most important thing in our everyday lives. It is much, much more important than taking a bath, brushing one’s teeth, or even eating. ( Of course, I’m kidding, right ! ). ( But then, I don’t think I’ll have the will to live if my skin is infested with too much imperfections. sniff ) Proper skin care would maintain good skin and prevent problems from coming in. Choosing the proper skin care is also important – the one that’s good for you. I’ve tried Skin Hour a few months ago, and I can say that I can recommend this to those who have just started their skin care ( early teeners ) to those who want to maintain their good skin for some anti-aging maintenance.

Mama Lotion Gives Me That Lovin` At Home Peeling!

From my last trip to my dermatologist, she has been telling me that my scars would not go away that fast because I could not commit to visit her every three weeks for frequent cleaning ( since my open pores are just alot ), so after my monthly cleaning – diamond peeling session, she whipped up a sample for me to try – of MaMa Lotion.

This remarkable gel-lotion is the ultimate agent for those wanting to get more out of their anti-aging routines. This 20% AHA formulation contains 10% mandelic acid and 10% malic acid with a 2.5 ph. Because of the protective and moisturizing qualities of malic acid, this lotion takes about 10-15 minutes to fully sink into the skin. A bit sticky at first, the MaMa lotion will dry to an ultra smooth, glowing finish that will draw compliments throughout the day. Excellent for evening out pigmentation or softening feet and elbows as well.
