I could only be amazed on the transition of Ponds from being a mass market consumer brand and low priced, into stepping up, providing consumers with skin-targeted specialty products for anti-aging, anti-acne ( oiliness ), and whitening. Day by day, I’ve been hearing raves about Ponds products, that I could not deny that the brand was getting better and better everyday!
I heard from the Swiper that Ponds eye creams were good ( remembering how she told me that they do effectively de-puff the eyes ), I plunged in and tried Pond’s Age Miracle Dual Eye-Therapy UV Eye Cream.

This Yin-Yang concept of having two colors of eye cream in a pot isn’t just for eye-candy purposes. The pink eye cream happens to be the Upper Eye Collagen Cream to be applied on the lids, that helps reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkle and crow’s feet, and the white eye cream is the Undereye Brightening Cream that helps reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circle under the eyes.
So, on to the roadtest!
For the pink one, I noticed that it is not as absorbing as other eye creams that I’ve tried. It’s waxy in texture that is midway in being an eyeshadow primer, in my opinion, that this can even be as good as an eyeshadow primer because of its texture. It settles on the skin if the area is dry already, so I suggest applying this right after you wash your face for that chance of it being absorbed in the skin.
The white one, to be applied under the eyes, is creamier, and more of a thicker kind of moisturizer. It’s not greasy, it gets absorbed more into the skin more than the pink one, and my eye area feels less tight, and more “comfortable.” See, my skin is very very oily, including my eyelids, and I am happy that this does not cause the skin around my eye area to break out. Even if I wash my face with Obagi Clenziderm that has Salicylic Acid, my face gets refreshed and have some anti-acne effect, but my undereyes feel a bit tight from the dryness because the eyes have the thinnest skin on the entire face.
Aside from that, there’s also anti-aging benefits from this eye cream as it protects us from the sun’s UV rays, which is the number one source of our aging skin. But does it work? So far, I haven’t seen very significant effects for I have been using this for just two weeks, but I feel my eye area less tight, more hydrated, and looking less tired. This has real promise, and I can recommend this to those who want to try and have that eye cream experience. You’ll never do without an eyecream after trying one!
Overall, I can say that Ponds Age Miracle Dual Eye-Therpapy UV Cream is something that you can consider whether you use eye creams, or you are still starting out to use them. It’s a nice experience hydrating both the lids, and the under eyes, as we can not neglect the eyes as these peepers will be one of those parts of the face that will really add years to your face, if not taken cared of properly!

just a question… how old should your start using eye creams?
Hey Sophie! I agree that the eye cream doesn’t get absorbed that much, there are times when I can see traces of it sitting on top of my skin. I’ve been using it for a little less than 2 weeks, so I’ve yet to see long term effects. Btw, have you noticed that the white eye cream has purple “particles” in it?
well said! we should take care of our eyes…and as early as NOW!!!!
I’ve always been neglecting mine and I started using one last year, I’ve stopped a bit coz I don’t see “improvements” ..well it’s my fault, improvements are quite minimal and slow..but looking back at my old photos, it does improved “puffiness” of my undereye!
thanks Sophie!
Hey perfect timing! I was just holding a box earlier and wondering if I should try this or the Nivea version with Q10 co-enzymes. Like you, I’m worried about breakouts so this is good news to me. Thank you S!
I apply it in every night before going to bed and it’s work great.
Hi Sab! As early as age 18-20 !
Don’t be like me – I started using eye creams when I felt my undereyes too tight!
Micah: Yep!
well, I think it does do its job anyway, but just to be sure, apply the eye cream when skin is fresh from a hot shower for better absorption.
Nikki : Truly. I dread the day when my eye’s start having lines! Nooo!!!
Candice : I haven’t tried Nivea’s yet! No breakout problem with Ponds so far!
For me , this one has promise naman.
Nema : Wow, good for you!
How long have you been using it? Were there really visible results on your end?:)
o man! i knew it! i should try this.. but i’m still finishing up a bottle of anti-aging organic thingy. here i go again!!
Hi Sophie!
To be honest, I am not really fond of kikay and vanity stuff, but i dunno.. After browsing through your blog and Phoebe’s blog, parang na-eenganyo na ako LOL
I think it is about time na rin hehe
Hmmm… lemme try this product
i’ve been using the age miracle eye cream for over a month now. im super satisfied! i like the pink one because its not greasy when you apply on the upper lid.
i was just advised by a friend that we should only “pat” the eye cream on our upper and lower lids and not rub it on like ordinary lotion to prevent dark circles around the eye
also, don’t be discouraged if you do not see the results asap. the effects of these creams will be seen in a few years time when age sets in..

Bought Dual-Eye Cream and Age Miracle Serum for 50% off. Just using the products for 4 days and no result yet. Will post comment again after a month.
I enjoyed reading your blog.
ive been using it &all i notice is that the lines under my eyes are getting more obvious.
I just bought mine yesterday. I’m excited coz this is the first time I’ll be using an eye cream aside from my eye roll on. I really need this since I’m in my 30′s now and my work as Virtual Assistant prompt me to use this so. I’m hoping for a favorable result, if not I know i have to look for another later on…
