A week ago, I received an offer from someone to guest blog for Beautynomics , and boy, it wasn’t a girl. It was a boy! ( that sounded so darn redundant, but sadly, that’s how my crazy mind works lately. hahaha! ) . Well, based on my psychoanalysis ( puts on her glasses ), this guy is sooo subconsciously wanting to grab a tube, or a pot of body exfoliator! and moreso, even something for the face! Say, facial wash, facial scrub, and shaving gel? ( Okay, I’m not pushing my luck! )

Read on, and tell me what you think!

He says :

Let’s be honest here. As a guy I pay less attention to personal hygiene. I’m simply too lazy to clean my back properly, which is why I use the backscratcher regularly.

But on a long-ago trip to Puerto Galera, I discovered a cheap and easy way to have your back exfoliated. You see, the popular Filipino tourist destination known for its sulit offerings for beach goers features “freelance” massueses who give full-body massages for as low as 250 bucks ( around $ 4-5 usd ).

Now since they do massages on the beach, it’s inevitable that some sand will get on you as they work to rub the burdens of your body. My masseuse was apologetic about this, but I really didn’t mind. The sand rubbing on my back strangely felt satisfying.

The entire week after that beach trip, I realized that my back was no longer itchy at the end of the day! Amazed, I look at it in the mirror, and it looked really clean! Could it be possible that the Puerto Galera massages or any beach massage service for that matter offers beneficiary exfoliation side effects?

All I know is that next time I’m going to the beach, I’m paying for a massage on the fine white sand!

Your thoughts, my ladies?

Wow..coming from a guy? But you know what? I Can vouch on it, I went to Boracay with friends, and we were just there, in the waters, and I was grabbing white sand and started rubbing onto my friend’s back, and she was “oohhhs and aahhhsss ing” and she told me afterwards that it does her back good (well not at once) but she felt her back looks BETTER right after..i think “cleanse” lol…so no harm trying di ba?

I noticed that you didn’t put his name or who he is in your life. Baby steps muna for the guy to write about beauty, right? :-)

Sand is also a natural foot exfoliator. The coarser, the better for moi.

Sab : I think sand is just glorious as long as it’s fine!! I love being barefoot whenever I’m at the beach!

Andrea : He’s a good friend of mine, and a project of mine is just really educating men about skin care and stuff, in time, there will be huge beauty bloggers who are men, I am really hoping for that! :) Sand is free footspa! :)
