No doubt, Tarte has got to be one of my favorite brands. Their cosmetics are just fab, and they’ve been all the more endearing in my heart when they started their Health Couture collections wherein they infuse their products with beneficial ingredients such as the T5 Superfruit Complex
To refresh you, they are,
–acai beautifying properties: antioxidant rich super fruit helps fight free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, has known anti-inflammatory and skin softening properties and combats premature signs of aging.
–acerola cherry beautifying properties: helps restore skin’s clarity due to the high concentration of Vitamin C.
–goji beautifying properties: contains anti-aging properties.
–maracuja beautifying properties: soothes skin and acts as an anti-inflammatory.
–pomegranate beautifying properties: reduces inflammation and redness in skin and has been known to reduce wrinkles and regenerate skin cells
and aside from that, they are getting rid of what we don’t want - parabens, sulfate, mineral oil, and the likes. Yeah, health couture is definitely the theme and I love it.
With this, they have released a limited Sephora exclusive Spring Collection kit called Spring Fever. ( picture above )
The set includes a mini Blushing Bride (0.17 oz), a mini Spring Fever SPF 15 Lip Sheer (0.098 oz), a Waterlilies Eyeliner (0.044 oz), a North Island Eyeshadow Duo (2 x 0.06 oz), and a Brush With Greatness double-ended eyeshadow brush.
By the looks of it, spring time is definitely the time to show off some skin, great skin that is, with very light makeup, flushed cheeks, and beautiful, soft but defined eyes. The kit retails for $40, product bundling from a $92 value when bought separately.
Another collection of Tarte is their Summer Collection, which is very exciting, indeed. First, they have teamed up with Britesmile to produce Enbrightenmint, a dual sided brightening lipgloss. One side is Britesmile’s teeth brightening pen, and one side is the T5 Superfruit Complex-infused Tarte lipgloss that has blue undertones that help make teeth look whiter. I have personally used Britesmile’s pen way back and I must say it had helped somewhat in the teeth brightening department.
Summer sure will be feverish as well with Tarte Glam Glams Bronzing Leg Stick. ‘luv the starfish!
