I’ve been sporting short nails for summer for the reason that I’ve been “roughing it” lately – meaning going to the beach, being all low-maintenance because of the heat, and all that. But that doesn’t mean that my nails won’t get some pampering!
On my nails is one of OPI’s pretty shimmery gray shades called Moon Over Mumbai. It’s described as shimmery gray, but on my hands it seems to look like an almost transluscent white at two coats that glows. The microshimmers are almost unnoticeable unless you take a really close look at it, and with a very glossy topcoat like Poshe, it just looks like a shiny white.
Now about white. It clearly doesn’t look opaque liquid-pen white, and it just might be passed off for a pearly white – but what I’ve noticed is that it’s very similar to OPI’s Bubble Bath but a translucent and very white version of it. It’s not really actually blatantly gray, but it might be “somewhat” going to gray. It’s clean, it’s classy, and the color is not dull at all because of the very very fine microshimmers.
What can I say? It’s a very very very pretty shade that I’m glad to have bought for me – and I might just be bringing a bottle of this to my nail technician on my next visit, just to try on long nails!
