This kind of eye candy, that is.

I just have to say this – I love, love eye makeup. Eyeliner’s just my favorite eye makeup cosmetic because I do it so well without shake, but my biggest frustration is eye makeup itself – the lid part, that is. I love rainbow-ey shades, smouldering smoky eyes, neutral looks, I love them all! But I’m quite slow in the learning process of it, but I really am interested to learn, and learn on how to perfect eye makeup looks because I believe that eye makeup can truly transform someone’s aura – because the eyes are just the windows to one’s soul.

For spring and summer, it’s all cheerful eye makeup that I’ve been looking at. Nice hues of blues, greens, yellows, and even pink! Hence, legendary makeup artist Linda Mason’s new book, Eye Candy: 55 Easy Makeup Looks for Glam Lids and Luscious Lashes.

Over the years Linda has created runway looks for designers such as Gaultier, Mugler and Comme des Garcons and has worked with everyone from Cameron Diaz to Charlize Theron to Courtney Cox and many other celebrities! Supermodel Naomi Campbell says “Linda Mason has a tremendous talent for using makeup to create color and texture, and to convey spirit!”

Well, I’m off to check out this book! Just in time for my makeup school next week! Wish me luck!
