Last night at the beautiful poolside of the Intercontinental Manila, held the most awaited Pantene’s Dare To Get Wet Event. The event was like no other as Pantene launched their new formulation – water-activated Pro-Vitamin B5 formula that gives 3x less hairfall due to breakage even on wet hair. And we know that the hair strand is most vulnerable when wet. Water maybe our hair’s worst enemy, our “water-loo ( gosh, pun intended )”, but this time, this water-activated formula, our hair will just “go with the flow”, without the threat of getting damaged. Fantastic.

For Beautynomics‘ coverage of the event, I was there together with beauty blogging girls Sasha and Angel, beauty blogging duo Bambi and Liee, and male friends who maybe fancied a glimpse of the Pantene’s Most Beautiful.

The event starts with beautiful music – a lovely lady playing one of the most romantic and angelic instruments ever- the harp, plus a lovely voice to sing with it.

Synchronized swimmers really dared to get wet!

Lilly Chu hosts the event, as she speaks with Ms. Ella Reyes, Brand Manager for Pantene about the new anti-hairfall formula of Pantene.

Ella Reyes talks about hairfall, and how Pantene prevents such problems amongst not only women, but men as well.

The Pantene Council of Stylists , unveiled – only the best hair professionals in the country, all of them well-respected and experts in dealing with matters of hair. Take note that this is no ordinary council. They are the creme of the crop of the hairstyling world!

(L-R ) : Rose Velasco and Jude Hipolito of Univers Phyto Salon by Kaizen, Jing Monis of Propaganda, Celeste Tuviera ( whom, I might say, was just beaming during the event! ) of Symmetria Salon, Henri Calayag of Henri Calayag Salon, Louis Kee of Razzle Dazzle, and Victor Ortega of Emphasis.

Yeah, my hair definitely felt the good vibes *wink*

And at long last, Pantene’s Most Beautiful graces our eyes.

First to be unveiled is Ruffa Guterrez. She is all glamorous and goddess-like in this event. Even if there are traces of intrigues about her past marriage, she still never fails to leave people in awe of her dazzling and gorgeous smile. Too bad I wasn’t able to get close to her. She’s my ultimate girl crush!

Second, is the timeless beauty Gretchen Barretto. She was at her confident best as she answered all questions without any trace of insecurity – it seemed like she is very happy with how she looks and how she takes care of her hair. Admirable. I wish she sang! Would’ve wanted to hear her sing heehee.

Judy Ann Santos , I just might say, is a breath of fresh air. I must say that her transformation through the years never failed to wow me. She is such an inspiration to many to exercise ( and try boxing, like my friends did ) . That set aside, her speaking Tagalog during the launch was avidly cheered – of course, that helped her make her message really clear and heartfelt.

Claudine Barretto, up close, is very, very beautiful. Her hair’s straight and bouncy, and her skin, as Romsie of Campaigns PR tells me, is like a 5 year old’s. Motherhood fits her quite well, and I’ve never been happier to see her again , back from her sabbatical. ( It seems so evident that I’m a kapamilya ).

Guess who scored pics with these beauties?

Lucky boi Lucas of Multiply with La Greta

Angel wanted this all evening – she loves Juday so much!

Erm, shall I bore you with my tendency to get starstruck all the time?

I managed to have mi picture taken with the greatest! Judy Ann Santos , Claudine Barretto, Henri Calayag whom I’ve known because of his mineral makeup line, and Celeste Tuviera!

The event was very successful. The media crowded to get pictures, and interviews of the Pantene’s Most Beautiful were just refreshing and delightful as they not only related to us the way they take care of their hair, their experience with Pantene, but also a bit on their personal lives as well. What got me quite excited as well, is the Council of Stylists , who are all ready to answer our questions in the next few days. I think I quite remember Jing Monis who promised to answer all our hair-related questions 24/7 via the website! ( I remember, I remember! ). Just stay tuned to www.pantenesemostbeautiful.com for updates!

This is me Sophie, the Beautynomist, signing off! Hope you enjoyed the coverage! But, but, I’m not yet done! I’m talking about the science hairfall soon ( sharing what I’ve learned! )

Very cool pictures. What a wonderful product line. As a former hairstylist I’ve coached many a former client about treating your wet hair with TLC. It’s great to see a product line finally addressing this issue.
