It’s been a known fact that I could spend hours inside a beauty boutique full of products. Whenever I’d feel alone, or sad, and find myself in a mall, I would seek solace not shopping for clothes, shoes, but checking out beauty products.
And it’s been a common knowledge among my friends that my favorite drink would be milk tea. I know, I spent my vacation in Shanghai last year sampling different brands of milk tea ( practically anywhere I could find them, on the streets, inside groceries, etc. ) every single day!
So, The Body Shop -my favorite place for bath products ( ahhh, love. ) + Lipton Milk Tea - the known take-me-home hoards of people who travel to China prior to its release in the Philippines = the ultimate feel good experience. All my mishaps and disappointments for the week ultimately vanished because of my choice to attend this event. I feel that we are the master of our ships, so I just refused to continue my week that has gone awry. I sought some solace and therapy, and I just know where to go for my happy place!

Host for the event - a very happy Lily, clad in the official color of the season - rrrefreshing yellow!

*Assistant Brand Manager of Lipton Milk Tea - the very cheerful Minnie Fong ( I swear, everyone just seemed to be all smiles during this event. Good vibes, somehow made up for my week. Thank you people! )

My beauty blogging girl friend Phoebe flashing her new..FLASH! Woohoo!
Checking out my loot I was given the chance to pick, from The Body Shop,

A Moringa Body Wash, a Spa Wisdom African Salt Scrub, and my ultimate favorite, a Pink Grapefruit Bath Set ( Pink Grapefruit is the BOMB ). Individual reviews are on their way!

and Lipton Milk Tea. ( I get this adorable tea cup and enough milk tea to last me a few days, just because I drink too much of it ! )
During the event, we were told that there will be several launches soon of new products of The Body Shop. For some insider info, Oceanus has been phased out already , which has been replaced with Aqua Lily. Oceanus has been my favorite body wash, and I saved my allowance just to buy mini sizes way back in highschool ( I even remember saving just enough to use it for the prom Hahaha! ) . Other great finds included the Moringa line which are made from malunggay leaves ( quite excited to write about this, actually ). Alot of new stuff from The Body Shop. I mean, alot.
I feel quite lucky that I’ve been part of this event! Because my weekend never felt this good!
How was your weekend?
