This summer, Skinceutical’s Active UV Defense is the “it” product as it as SPF 30, protects us both from UVA and UVB, and moisturizes our skin as well. For the more adventurous, the Sport UV Defense SPF 45 is waterproof and sweatproof! Take note that Skinceuticals sunblocks never blocked any of my very fragile open pores on my face and are very non-intrusive. They are semi-creamy in consistency that does not make them too thick and icky-feeling, and disappear in the face in seconds, as it protects the skin for the whole day. Also perfect when worn under makeup.
It definitely makes anti-aging routines easier. Those who are too lazy to apply sunblock would not find Skinceuticals sunblock products too fussy to maintain on their skin. I know, I’ve finally managed to pull myself to apply sunblock on my face already as part of my routine. My next step is trying to put on my arms - specially this summer, I really really have to start. I’m dead scared of wrinkles!
