Pantene’s Dare To Get Wet Event

Last night at the beautiful poolside of the Intercontinental Manila, held the most awaited Pantene’s Dare To Get Wet Event. The event was like no other as Pantene launched their new formulation - water-activated Pro-Vitamin B5 formula that gives 3x less hairfall due to breakage even on wet hair. And we know that the hair strand is most vulnerable when wet. Water maybe our hair’s worst enemy, our “water-loo ( gosh, pun intended )”, but this time, this water-activated formula, our hair will just “go with the flow”, without the threat of getting damaged. Fantastic.

For Beautynomics‘ coverage of the event, I was there together with beauty blogging girls Sasha and Angel, beauty blogging duo Bambi and Liee, and male friends who maybe fancied a glimpse of the Pantene’s Most Beautiful.

My Revelation About REVALÉSKIN

REVALÉSKIN, with its revolutionary ingredient Coffeeberry, must be the next big thing in the anti-aging skin care niche, as it earns raves from top dermatologists all over the world, calling it “one of the most promising new antioxidants that came along in years”, and beauty editors calling it the “new fountain of youth.”

For some facts about Coffeeberry,

Summer Showers Review : Ilog Maria Lavender Honey Soap

Summer’s such a cheerful weather as it supplies me with endless sunshine, and warmth, but the heat.

Ugh, the heat! The heat has been impossible to deal with lately that lets me dress down, scrimp on makeup application, and be more generous with applying SPF like a lotion.

One of my favorite, and absolutely luxurious pastimes lately, has been taking a shower. Oh yes, blissful showers.

That’s why for the next few entries, I will be reviewing bath products! Just because they’re what I’ve been checking out, and shopping for lately. This weather sure has triggered my fancy for fresh, and fragrant body products such as bath gels, bath salts and scrubs, and whatever there is that can be used to make me feel fresh and help me feel sunshiney, just like the weather!

So, my first review for my Summer Showers Series : The Ilog Maria Lavender Honey Soap.

The Body Shop and Lipton Milk Tea Feel Good Event

It’s been a known fact that I could spend hours inside a beauty boutique full of products. Whenever I’d feel alone, or sad, and find myself in a mall, I would seek solace not shopping for clothes, shoes, but checking out beauty products.

And it’s been a common knowledge among my friends that my favorite drink would be milk tea. I know, I spent my vacation in Shanghai last year sampling different brands of milk tea ( practically anywhere I could find them, on the streets, inside groceries, etc. ) every single day!

So, The Body Shop -my favorite place for bath products ( ahhh, love. ) + Lipton Milk Tea - the known take-me-home hoards of people who travel to China prior to its release in the Philippines = the ultimate feel good experience. All my mishaps and disappointments for the week ultimately vanished because of my choice to attend this event. I feel that we are the master of our ships, so I just refused to continue my week that has gone awry. I sought some solace and therapy, and I just know where to go for my happy place!

The Beautynomist Visits Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm!

I just love, love summer. Aside from the gorgeous tan that I’d be able to sport, I get to frolic, go out of town and get away from the city! Last weekend was a blast as my bestbuds from college and I went on a roadtrip. With our first top to Tagaytay, as we grabbed lunch at Buon Giorno, we decided to go to Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm as it was just near the place. Twas also an excellent opportunity for me to check out the place that I’ve bought products from via their online store last year.

Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm is located in Silang, Cavite that produces natural and organic products ( yes, no SLS, parabens, and chemicals whatsoever ) ranging from, soaps, body wash, facial scrub, feminine wash, lip balms, to even wood polish! Anything that can be made from the by-products of bees, using the most natural method, for they believe that products are more effective when made using natural methods and not processed at all. They believe that the benefits that keeping honey pure, and unprocessed lets it retain is “healing and nutritive properties.”

Virgin honey, is of course, their number one product!

Here’s a tour of the Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm for those who haven’t visited the place yet, have been buying online, or just want to know more about it!

Brighten My Day, YSL Touche Eclat!

I’ve been endlessly intrigued by this cult favorite, that claims to be the miracle product for the hopelessly cursed with the case of the bad undereye circles. I first read about this when I borrowed bestbud A’s book, “How To Walk In High Heels,” that recommends YSL Touche Eclat as a must-have for every woman!

Well, YSL Touche Eclatmeans a touch of radiance, and it promises to banish undereye circles, and highlights subtlely areas that you want to contour or give attention to. It was a walk in the clouds as my friend D flew to Manila, from Singapore, as she gave me one as a gift ( thanks , D! )

Praising My HG Hair Color - Clairol Nice n’ Easy

I’ve been coloring my hair since I was in highschool because of some stubborn gray hair. I think I’ve tried everything - from henna, to cellophane, DIY’s from semi-permanent to permanent, and those done professionally at a salon.

Well, I just can’t keep on going back to the salon to have my hair retouched for two reasons - I don’t have enough time to go to the salon on a regular basis, and I think if I have my hair retouched at a salon everytime, I think it’d cost alot. A whole lot. So come DIY home treatments.

The best so far I’ve tried is Clairol’s Nice n’ Easy. I love how it “stays” on stubborn gray hair ( because there are some hair color brands that just wash out in a matter of days and don’t hold up on gray hair. ), and how pretty the shades are and how it just covers well. My current color’s Light Golden Brown, and I love how it looks, specially when I’m under the sun. Quite a gorgeous shade that softened my features, because my usual shade was just a dark brown.

Wake Up Your Skin ! Revale Skin Care Launch

Wake up, wake up! No, this is not me trying to annoy you to get back at work, I am simply trying to incorporate the theme of Revaleskin, “wake up your skin” into this entry.

The Beautynomist and fellow beauty blogger girlfriends recently attended the launch of Stiefel Laboratories’ new breakthrough product, Revaleskin. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be interested when we were offered to learn more about anti-aging? Nobody wants to see wrinkles in their faces. Growing old is fine. Looking old, is another matter.

From the makers of Physiogel, Acneaid, Duoc, Stieprox, and other well-recommended and prescribed dermatological medications by medical practicioners, Stiefel Laboratories has come up with a one-of-a-kind anti-aging skin care system that boasts of its unique ingredient called Coffeeberry, which is a very very powerful antioxidant that is far more potent and effective than Vitamin C, Green Tea, Pomegranate, and even Vitamin E! It is Stiefel Labs’ first and only professional line of “organiceutical, anti-aging product.” and is geared towards aesthetic skin care.
