Fantastic Deal : Cargo Blu Ray Collection

What I love most about Sephora is that when they offer gift sets or collections, the prices will just make you buy. Period. They bundle products into a collection, and slash almost 50% off the pricetag. First, I’ve bought Smashbox’s Master’s Class Collection ( Vol. 1 – Smoky Eyes Set ) , and now, my recent purchase is Cargo Blu Ray Collection. The set sells for $59, but all products, when added up, totals to $130.

Set includes a pressed powder, a blush/highlighter, a mascara, and a primer, and a lipgloss quad.

Scrub Story : The Face Shop’s Sake Clarifying Body Scrub

Last weekend as a relaxing one as I was given the chance just to laze around the house with nothing to do but rest. And when that happens, all the attention goes to my personal needs, specially my skin. There’s where I remembered that I had The Face Shop’s Sake Clarifying Body Scrub lying around in my drawer for 2 months already.

Formulated with Sake this luxurious body line clarifies and hydrates skin while calming the senses. Its sensational Sake scent releases tension and invigorates an exhausted body and soul.

This cream type body scrub contains extra soft grain granules (like apricot seed sesame seed rice bran etc) to gently remove dead skin cells. Gentle enough for frequent use.

Relaxing, ala Juliet Style

I’ve mentioned that Juliet is a pen name of mine that I have derived inspiration from, and Juliet, is my nine year old baby sister who is the vainest one of them all. Amidst the makeup grabbing ( with or without permission ), beauty gadget curiosity and endless beauty questions directed to me, I love her alot because she’s the cutest thing on earth!

She just might be the next beauty guru, I don’t know, let’s see!

Well, good thing my camera’s been nice to me that I was able to capture some precious moments of her vanity,

I swear, this wasn’t my idea. She asked the household help to cut her some slices of cucumber! She told me twas her idea of “relaxation” for her tired eyes from too much studying, and she wants her undereye circles gone. ( Hwat?! )

Tiger Balm Makes My Day

I’m sure this is beauty related. Watch me justify!

What is beauty when your back breaks? What is beauty when your facial expression’s always in pain?

Summerrific Nails : I Love Aqua Baby!

It’s been months since I got this really stunning China Glaze shade called Aqua Baby, as recommended by nail polish expert Michelle from All Lacquered Up ( you are the best! ), and now that it’s summer here, I was just so excited to wear this color as it is very very unique, pretty, and not to mention a total stunner.

Tarte Cosmetics Comes Up With “Health Couture”

This Spring, Tarte Cosmetics goes healthy with its new product line, “Health Couture”, which features the “t5 super fruit complex”, a propriety blend of the five most active super fruits, namely cai, goji, maracuja, acerola and pomegranate. These five super fruits scream anti-aging, refining, and skin restoration. I remember my T3 juice that I’ve been drinking lately – that boasts of antioxidants that help me feel better. Well, I didn’t know until now , that cosmetics were going to be this healthy! Yayness!

For the nerds in us who want to know what each super fruit gives out, well, here’s some beauty info for all us!

Get Soft Kissable Lips with Tarte FRXtion

Exfoliation must be my number one beauty term as I cannot stress enough on how it is one important part of keeping the skin soft, smooth, and lookin` brand new. I’ve endlessly blabbered on facial scrubs, body scrubs, and now, how about a lip scrub?

Coastalscents Spa Excel Sugar Butter Scrub

From my beach vacation hangover, I was semi-tanned ( apparently, I need another beach trip. Boracay perhaps? Gods of fate, please be in my favor ! ), and I needed a good body scrub for a post-vacation scrub-off of dead skin cells with the hopes of smoother and softer skin. God, I’ve been sunbathing that I just wanted my dead skin cells gone (but still, retaining my almost tan ! haha! )!

I’ve been wanting to try the Coastalscents Spa Excel Sugar Butter Scrub that was sent to me for review but I was feeling strange for the past few weeks that I couldn’t get to use body scrub and just stick with body washes for my bath experience. Well, the moment I opened my sample jar of this ( I got this in Coconut Melon ), it smelled pleasantly coconut-y. I closed my eyes and it immediately took me back to the beach. Oh-kay, here we go, I’m bringing this jar with me to the bathroom!

Another Update On My Obagi Clenziderm Experience

Well, I just won’t stop with my fixation with my Obagi Clenziderm experience ! I’ve been monitoring my progress all the way because I am just fervently hoping that this would work on me and be the saving grace with regards to my skin problems!

Well, I postponed my trip to my dermatologist, and scheduled it after my beach trip to Bohol since I wouldn’t want to go to the beach fresh from a diamond peel – more dead skin cells forming on top of my new, rejuvenated skin. I’d rather have them bunched up, bring with me a facial scrub, and go to my dermatologist after.

Beautynomics Back From Vacation

Sorry, my lovelies, for being really quiet these past few days. I just came back from an absolutely blissful vacation in the beautiful province of Bohol. Absolutely idyllic, relaxing, and just makes you want to turn your back to reality.

Well, I’m back, with feet all scrubbed, squeaky soft and smooth from the fine sands of the beach, as well as sporting a lovely tan! I’m off to blogging and making it up to you my lovelies!
