As I came home from work, guess what greeted me.
Hint : My eyes were glued to the TV screen, in total awe, what the world is thinking.
The TV’s just full of reality show nowadays – dating games, surviving the wilderness, home makeovers,fashion designing, yuppies in the making and even photography contests.
This is just the first time that I’ve ever watched TEASE – a reality show about hairstyling.
Incredible. This is like the Iron Chef, only themed towards hair styling.
The aspiring stylists will put their skills to the ultimate tress test in front of a panel of expert judges as they compete for a chance at the supreme challenge – a one-on-one battle with a high-profile master stylist. Should they surpass the expertise of a hair pro, their photo will hang on the Tease hair wall of fame and they will receive the “silver scissors,” the crowning symbol of their styling victory.- from the website
I watched as two stylists – one master stylist ( world-class trendsetters ) vs the up and coming stylist battle to replicate a star’s hairstyle for their model within 75 minutes. Alot of hair coloring, wash, trimming, blow drying, and even sewing extensions! What I liked about it is that as the hair stylists would do their magic on the girls, one of the three “iron chefs” or “master stylists” would offer some hair styling tip while seated in the audience. The hair stylists also exhibited great sense of humor, like we expect them to be. It’s a funny show with impressive outcomes.
Yes, I agree that there should be more reality shows geared towards beauty and style. I would be watching TV more often, then! *snicker*

I learned just now that hey! WE have a local version of a hairstyling reality show! It’s called “The Final Cut: The Next David’s Salon Creative Stylist”
