I just wanted to share something about my day!
This girl was one of my clients during the Mineral Makeup Weekend.
The conversation went like this,
Me : Hey , nice curls.
Her : Thank you it’s natural.
Me : Are you serious? No perm?
Her : No, I got it from my grandma.
Me : Are you absolutely serious that you have that naturally gloriously goldilocks hair?
Her : Yes, I tried to use hair iron to straighten it before.
Me : With a hair like that, DO NOT USE HAIR IRON!
I guess there are some people blessed with extraordinary genes!
I mean, the last time I’ve seen pretty hair like that is when my favorite highschool classmate decided to perm her long hair. I’m quite envious that this gorgeous lady did not have to perm her hair to obtain such gorgeous locks! They were perfect rings of curls, that looked like they came fresh from the salon. Very impressive!
Talk about saving $60 worth of salon services!

I had the very same conversation with someone(though I got my telephone wire curls from BOTH of my grandmas).I’ve only recently let my curls go, after years and years of hating and relaxing and rebonding and keeping it in tight chignons.When I finally let them loose, I was surprised with people’s reactions.In a country where long,straight locks are glorified and worshipped(i’m from the philippines), I didn’t expect people to actually love my hair.Some even couldn’t stop touching it.It’s just a matter of hair mousse,hair dressing cream, and a little spray net and scrunching and I’m all good to go.
Hi dear! im shocked to see this… hahaha! it’s me! If you have curly hair and want it to look like that, I use Pantene Hydrating curls shampoo and conditioner. Comb after shower and then I spray Bed Head Uptight to hold the curls together and then just let it dry.
However, not all who have curly hair will have the same effect, it also depends on the texture of your hair.
The only problem with curly hair is you need constant salon treatments since it tends to look dry. oh and of course, the right hair cut! It should be layered! If not, super big hair ka! hahaha!
