As a beauty blogger and beauty enthusiast, I find it such a challenge to influence guys to take an extra step from their usual basic bath routine which is a basic bar of soap. Well, I’ve found just the perfect product that will make it easy for me to brainwash guys out there to take bath products seriously! Haha! It’s Every Man Jack’s Citrus Scrub.
I was given a chance to try Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub, both in the body bar form and the body wash form. My roadtest guy? Of course, the most important man in my life - my dad! What I’m so envious about him is that despite his age, he remains to be youthful looking , absolutely without the help of beauty products, at all! I’ve been wanting him to be more adventurous with products as I do love shopping stuff for him, and well, now is my chance!
Well, Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub products were love at first sight for me. Well, at first sniff, that is. Let’s just say that in a boxful of stuff I have, it got lost there, and when I was able to find the products because I was lured with the wonderful, refreshing citrus goodness that is so contagious! I swear, I could not stop smelling it and wished that the body bar was just mine. I would want to inhale it when I wake up in the morning. It is so darn refreshing - absolutely no phoney fragrance.
Okay, so I convinced my dad to try a bar of Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub, and let me say that I have “sneakily” reinforced my desired bath regimen that I’ve always wanted to suggest to him :
1. Getting the best smelling soap in the planet. I know he loves musky soaps, and I admit, they smell great, but sometimes we can make way for some citrus freshness that would just make everything feel light!
2. Getting him to unconsciously “exfoliate!” Oh yay oh yay! I am definitely an advocate of exfoliating because after all, we have new skin to reveal, why not scrub off and say goodbye to old skin, when they just make you look older? Exfoliating is one of the best ways to keep skin smooth, fresh, and young. The Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub body bar has wheat bran that scrubs away dead skin cells. My type of product!
3. Lastly, I also made him get into the healthy bath products bandwagon. Yes, and he didn’t know it yet ( I shall probably discuss it with him on an idle Sunday lunch, but probably, he’d just ignore me, so…? haha ) Every Man Jack products are tallow free, sulfate free and paraben free, so they’re pretty much great products that don’t have the controversial chemicals. Safe enough, safe enough!
So, I just unconsciously turned my dad into one savvy and discriminating bath product user just by making him use Every Man Jack’s Citrus Scrub. All in a day, huh? In fairness, he has thanked me for making him try this product because his skin felt remarkably softer, and my mom was raving on how good he smelled ( Woohooo! ), and is bugging me to get him more of these.
One more thing - guys don’t like to stretch their budgets on bath products - with this, you don’t even have to put any effort - 3 bars cost $5. Goodness - how good can this get? Maybe I can upgrade him into using the body wash ( with scrub, too ) in time. Oh yay!
