I swear by the stuff and refer all my friends to it. I have oily skin and it gets rid of the oil, smells good (light), and lathers nicely. I used to use Purpose's facial wash and bar soap in my early twenties. The bar soap worked fine (until I found out that bar soaps, regardless of whether or not they're "facial"), but the facial wash left my oily face a wee bit too moisturized. It was, however, recommended by my dermatologist, so it can't all be bad. However, oily, blemish-prone skins should stick to facial foaming washes or gels. Marjorie I completely agree.
