I truly regret that I was able to see the beauty of wearing eyeliners only when I graduated college ( how crazy is that? ) . Eyeliners definitely open up the eyes, bring some depth, oomph, sex appeal, and all those good things! ( too many to mention, eh? ) I now realize that I could not leave the house without wearing eyeliner - I might be lazy sometimes to apply eye makeup, but I will never be too lazy not to wear eyeliner.
My problem with eyeliners is that number one, they smudge. I’m also not fond of pencil eyeliners, for I get irritable or feel not so nice with the pressure when the pencil starts “drawing” the line. With the smudge issue, my face is horribly oily that I need an eyeliner that will truly stay for the longest time. My Holy Grail sealant would be the Bare Escentuals Weather Everything Liner Sealer, that as the medium is mixed with my loose mineral eyeliner, it would surely stay all throughout the day. I also love, love, love my Smashbox Bent Liner Brush as it makes my application way easier. Also, I’ve also learned to be experimental with eyeliner colors - from brown , I’ve been more adventurous and tried purples, greens, bronzes, and even blues. Now, I wear blue eyeliner in my laziest days and it really makes a statement. Friend Aileen on the other hand , swears by MAC Fluidlines as they spread like butter and has good staying power. Over at the Mineral Makeup Blog, the Blushing Vixen gushes about indelible gel liners as she shows off her collection. How cool is that?
A question to my dear readers:
Which eyeliner ( kind -liquid, pencil, or gel ), or brand, do you love most and why ? I’d love some input!

How true! I think a bit of eyeliner makes a huge difference in the way the eye looks. It makes the eyes look more awake and big instantly!
I have just started to LEARN to use eyeliner, hehe. Would you mind giving some tips on how to apply a liquid eyeliner? Thanks!
Elizabeth : Oh yes it does! I love eyeliner! thank you for visiting my blog. Let’s talk soon!
I am currently learning how to apply eyeliner - I bought liquid eyeliner from the face shop, but haven’t been successful hehehe. Pencil eye liner is what i’m currently using, though I haven’t perfected it (and I have uber oily lids like you!). I tried several kinds (from Maybelline to Nars) , but to my surprise, what worked for me was the cheapest - Ever Bilena! At least now, I don’t have to worry about spending a lot of money on eyeliner, and can even practice with it over and over
I love eyeliner too - it makes such a difference! I’ve never been a huge fan of pencil liner though - it’s either cake or powder liner applied with an angled brush or liquid liner for me.
I actually really like Prestige liquid liner too - it’s drugstore cheap but it’s really nice, and comes in lots of fun colors, including gunmetal and sapphire blue.
Liquid eyeliner happens to be my favorite. I love the sleek and clean look it creates. I have experienced with many many different brands, but my all time favorite is ALMAY liquid eyeliner. Being Asian my eye lid creases tend to smudge my make-up, but ALMAY’s has true staying power and it isn’t irritating at all.
after you put on the liner, don’t forget the http://www.talika.com lash extender! It really makes your eyes pop!!!
