Even if reds, greens, and blues are all the rage this coming Holiday season, there would always be room for pink this October, for we are all celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink ribbons, pink packaging of various beauty brands symbolize their participation in this month-long campaign. It’s only once a year, but we get to reflect on the damage that breast cancer inflicts on our lives, as well as the emotional stress it gives us and our loved ones when someone is afflicated with this. Let us all be strong, and be more knowledgeable about this.
Well , I’m loving October anyway because I love the color pink so much. One of my favorite polish colors are pink, and OPI simply rocks - it dries so fast, and stays on for so long that it’s one of my HG nail polishes. With Pink of Hearts launched for October, they have pledged to donate $25,000 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
I didn’t know that aside from the pink symbolizing girliness, it also symbolizes strength, support, and love. So let’s all be, and feel pink not only this October, but all year long. Proud to have a pink pink blog over here!
