Have a Luxurious Holiday With Kanebo’s Skin Care Sets!

It’s a common misconception that economics is associated with just “savings”, “scrimping”, and those kinds of stuff. As an Economist, I have the right to defend luxury goods! Hahahaha! God, that just makes me justify more my addiction for beauty products, whatever price range they may be.

For luxury products, I believe that they aren’t just all hype and marketing. A bunch of costs are also associated with research and development of the product, that’s why I think that there are some luxury beauty products out there that just stand out - and one of them is my favorite brand, Kanebo. I love their anti-aging products, and I have adopted a staple in my nightly skin care regimen - their Sensai Eye Contour Cream - such anti-aging firming goodness for the undereye!

Anyway, I’m not supposed to talk about that until my next few entries, so let me present to you their Holiday gift sets that are just..ooh lala!

The picture above is the Sensai Premier Luxury Box. It just might be the most expensive skin care that was made for..well, men! Men do deserve anti-aging too, ya know, as I have stressed in my previous entry.

Beauty for Him : Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub

As a beauty blogger and beauty enthusiast, I find it such a challenge to influence guys to take an extra step from their usual basic bath routine which is a basic bar of soap. Well, I’ve found just the perfect product that will make it easy for me to brainwash guys out there to take bath products seriously! Haha! It’s Every Man Jack’s Citrus Scrub.

I was given a chance to try Every Man Jack Citrus Scrub, both in the body bar form and the body wash form. My roadtest guy? Of course, the most important man in my life - my dad! What I’m so envious about him is that despite his age, he remains to be youthful looking , absolutely without the help of beauty products, at all! I’ve been wanting him to be more adventurous with products as I do love shopping stuff for him, and well, now is my chance!

Tarte Water-Proof Lip Stain and Lip-Enhancing Gloss Duo

Think of it as the ultimate wakeup-makeup for lips: the water-resistant lip stain imparts a natural rosy glow, while the cocktail of tripeptides in the lip-enhancing gloss stimulates collagen on the cellular level. Vitamin E, Aloe & Coconut Oil lock moisture in. The result? A pout that’s pretty, polished, and plumped-up. Good morning, sunshine!

I admit that I didn’t really like lip or cheekstains before as I fear that when used on the lips, they’d just “stain” my lips, even if it looked dry, and I fear it would make my chapped lips looked all feathered and ugly.

Johnson & Johnson Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash

Clean, pure, soap-free PURPOSE® Gentle Cleansing Wash removes dirt, oil, and make-up without stripping or drying your skin like soap can. And it won’t sting your eyes, so it’s ideal for removing eye make-up products. PURPOSE® Gentle Cleansing Wash leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Clinically shown as gentle to your skin as water1, the mild formula effectively cleanses without overly drying or irritating skin.

I was given a chance to try Johnson & Johnson Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash, and at first smell, I just thought that it had a very pleasant, subtle, and gentle fragrance to it that I so loved that I had trouble letting go of it. This time , my mom and my baby sister were first to try it, and I gave them the chance to review this product!

Lethal Lipsticks : Another Point of View

While the news is spreading around the web about lethal red lipsticks, anyone who is self preserving enough would stay away from red lipsticks because of the news from Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. It would be very much the initial reaction of consumers. But then, an interesting comment was left on here, that I would do a post about. I’m thankful for Beauty Mahogany to have led me to the Cosmetics Cop website because I learned that there was definitely another side of the story in this controversy.

An except,

Lethal Lipsticks : True?

I remember making a post that I made last time about lethal lipsticks. Out of frustration, and lack of proof about lipsticks containing lead, I have come up with a post that disproves the truth about having lead in lipsticks. Well - not exactly not having lead, but the lead levels in the lipstick not being that high enough to cause harm on us. I have exhausted sources way back, and with this new source, I’m afraid it disproves my past post, so I am taking this action to further update and educate my readers of the latest news about this issue.

Eyelining Frenzy at Its Best

smashbox bent liner

I truly regret that I was able to see the beauty of wearing eyeliners only when I graduated college ( how crazy is that? ) . Eyeliners definitely open up the eyes, bring some depth, oomph, sex appeal, and all those good things! ( too many to mention, eh? ) I now realize that I could not leave the house without wearing eyeliner - I might be lazy sometimes to apply eye makeup, but I will never be too lazy not to wear eyeliner.
