Saks Fifth Avenue is a very posh and luxurious department store located in the heart of New York - and somewhat symbolizes retail elegance in the city. The store has taken a step further by commissioning a perfumery to come up with fragrances that the overall vibe of the store, which contributes to how New York is defined as the most sophisticated city in the world.
And so, comes Saks Fifth Avenue for Him, and Saks Fifth Avenue for Her.
To further describe them,
Saks Fifth Avenue for Him is an elegant aqua scent, containing an initial dash of Sicilian bergamot for coolness, followed by cardamom, amber, and cedarwood for warmth. What gives this eau de parfum its metro-modernity is the addition of notes that are new to luxury perfumes: a marine accord … fiery chilis … seductive incense … soothing guaiac wood from South America. This blend of classic and contemporary reflect the eclectic downtown spirit and style of NoHo-based Bond No. 9.
Saks Fifth Avenue for Her signals the return of the classic gardenia eau de parfum, given a chic contemporary twist with the addition of sparkling jasmine and vetiver, along with smooth vanilla. This all-white bouquet captures the fashion-forward essence of 21st century Saks, while at the same time expressing the eclectic downtown spirit of NoHo-based Bond No. 9.
I was given a chance to try these fragrances, and I just enjoyed them. The scents, be it for men, or women, were ultra elegant and modern that it surely depicts New York. The scents seem to depict a posh, fast-paced life, oozing with modern leisure and super city feel. The Saks Fifth Avenue for Men really caught my fancy as it was the perfect aqua scent that I would like any guy colleague of mine to wear. I so love it! With Saks Fifth Avenue for Women, although gardenia isn’t my most favorite scent in the world, the scent is very light ( as opposed to normally loaded gardenia scents that render me breathless - the bad type! ). It comes out as very feminine and lingering scent that I would describe perfectly as ultimately classy but timeless. The scent does not smell that it is too old for someone, for this smells “early twenties” and “luxury shopping.”.
To sum up - I love both Bond No9 Saks Fifth Avenue fragrances! Bond No9 fragrances are superb, and I can’t wait to try more of them - I shall be reviewing their body lotions next, and I must say - they are simply splendid!

Far out!! I love the bottles. Sounds/reads like I’d love the scent that matches too. Thanks.
I am green with envy - I would dearly luv luv luv to even so much have a sniff of these fine fragrances but alas up here in canada this is a fragrance that I douby very much will be sold. Being a fragrance freak myself and enjoying something in fragrance that isn’t too mainstream the saks fifth avenue I could dye for ( not literally though )
I’ve always been curious about Bond No9 perfumes and am looking am no longer in my early twenties but this will make a good gift for nieces!
I think I would almost buy those just for the packaging, so it’s good to know that the scents are also nice. The scent for males sounds particularly appealing!
Cool bottle, very graphic. This would look great sitting on my vanity.
Neither of these sounds good to me, judging by the list of notes, but either bottle would look fabulous on my vanity!
This new Bond #9 smells like a winner!
Wow! I’m surprised that high-end department stores are actually creating their own fragrances. Is this the first that they’ve done, or rather, the first of its kind? I’d be curious to see if Bloomingdale’s or Macy’s would follow this trend.
