They say that eye eyes are the first ones to age, and I agree, and add that I believe that it is the most delicate part of the face. I mean, my skin is all oily ( like a whole gasoline station’s worth of contents ), but whenever I’d wash my face, I could always feel my lid area and undereye area significantly dry, and it bothers me. To add to the problem, I also have a penchant of sleeping late, so I’ve had dark undereye circles for sometime, which is always successfully camouflaged by makeup. So I said to myself, it’s about time to use an eye cream to save my face!
I was given a chance to try the Elizabeth Arden Intervene Moisture Eye Cream. An anti-aging procrastinator like me loves things like these, as it is equipped with Biodormin technology, that helps minimize the look of existing lines and dark circles as it noticeably firms and smooths skin’s appearance. I didn’t have lines yet, and I never would want them in my life, so this is a relief!
The first time I have tried Elizabeth Arden Intervene Eye Cream, I was a bit relieved that it is not as heavy as my past eye creams. It’s creamy in texture, but it is not sticky at all. I did enjoy applying it in the morning, as it would help my loose mineral undereye concealer glide better ( because my undereye area’s usually dry that when loose undereye concealer is applied, it sorta “sticks” on the area, making it look dry and cakey. ) At night, I would apply a generous amount of eye cream on my lids and on my undereyes, as I help nourish my eye area, as well as protect it from the drying effects of the airconditioning unit, waking up with dewy, soft and well moisturized skin.
Well, the biggest question of humankind - does it really work? In my personal experience, I’d wake up in the morning with the eye area really soft and smooth, and I love to feel it like that. I’d look at myself in the mirror and see my eyes undergo some sort of eyelift - in such a way that they look younger a little bit. With the eye area well-moisturized, the face looks definitely younger, I can bet on that. With regards to the undereye circle, I haven’t noticed if it has truly worked on me or not, because I still haven’t used the product for a long time - but I am already happy with how it has improved the skin on the area surrounding the eye - and I shall be using it continuously, and see where it takes me.
