I remember a month ago, that I was endlessly lemming for the gorgeous, classy, yet unconventional shade of For Audrey, China Glaze’s limited edition shade to pay homage to the absolutely timeless fashion icon Audrey Hepburn. When I first saw the shade, I immediately felt that it was not the “usual” shade that I’d normally wear - my safe shades are sheer whites and pinks, and blue was just - so out there! Despite that, I was smitten with the unique kind of blue that reminded me of the packaging of Tiffany, the jewelry store. I’ve never worn any blue polish before, so this was a first.

When my package full of nail polish bottles arrived, in the sea of reds ( my new experiment ), pinks, and sheer lilacs, For Audrey definitely stood out - and I immediately wore the shade, braving the wild, but a little bit afraid that it won’t look good on my nails , because some shades just don’t look good on certain skin tones. The result? I love it. It’s one of the most unique shades I’ve ever worn, and this week was pretty crazy - for the first time, people whom I usually interact compliment, comment, or notice my nails. It’s either, “Hey, I like your nails, they’re cute, ” or “what a unique color,” or they’ve finally noticed that I’m wearing nail polish! Haha! Comments good or bad, my nails were just so noticed. Some friends of mine still couldn’t get the hang of wearing blue ( but hey, that’s a personal choice, and that’s alright! ). I’ve once thought that classy colors included whites and reds only, but now, even a pale blue could exude such a classy vibe , such as For Audrey!

To sum up, I love , love For Audrey. I wish I could have gotten an extra bottle of this. I wish China Glaze would have these in their collection permanently! Aside from the lovely, unconventional color, the quality of the polish is top notch and it dried pretty quickly. I have no qualms whatsoever from the color to the quality of China Glaze’s For Audrey. Whenever I’d wear the shade, I’ll always be thinking of that beautiful Tiffany box, and Audrey Hepburn, so you can see me actually behaving. ( Kidding! )

For Audrey looks great on you. Blues are one of my favorite nail shades. I think the right blue can compliment any skin tone. You should try navy next. China Glaze Up All Night is gorgeous.
