I used to hate going to SM Mall of Asia because it’s undeniably huge - I can get lost there and never be able to find my way home ( haha! ) - but going to Watson’s is INDEED a different thing. It’s not the usual Watson’s that we’ve come to get used to for our necessities and simple toiletries - it is way way beyond that now! It has just transformed into the ultimate health & beauty wonderland, and Beautynomics was there for a sneak peak of its new look!
Is it just me, or Watsons has gone from mass market to semi-high end? The new roster of brands are really impressive - alot of people would be very thankful for this move! More pictures ,after the jump!
Aveeno fans need not ask friends or relatives to buy them stuff from abroad! Johnson and Johnson’s Soothing Naturals are also to be available, soon!
For those who are into organic and natural products, feast your eyes on The Natural Source, Allison ( a hair care brand ), and Organic. Marketing manager Bobby Saneo touring us in the new , revamped store!
For the metrosexual, and growing consciousness of men in skin care (which I am a strong advocate of ), Shiseido For Men, Zirh, and Recipe for Men are now on the shelves!
L’Oreal’s Elseve is also now officially here! Someone whispered to me that they were actually comparable to Kerastase. Now - that, I have to prove, being a Kerastase fanatic!
Dessange , a French hair care brand, and 4U2, an up and coming Thai cosmetics brand.
The cosmetics area is my idea of a happy place!
and if I faint, I can always go to the pharmacy! ( now, that really sounded corny. ). Well, that looked like a very big pharmacy inside a store!
To sum up my experience, I thought that it was a really really big store - this must be the biggest of all Watsons branches ( after all, it is the flagship branch! ). The plethora of brands just amazed me, the new brands got me all excited, and soothed my stressed muscles which were aching from a late night’s sleep. For the vain, and health and beauty addicted, you will surely love the new and improved Watsons!

Yes! They’ve got Aveeno and L’Oreal Elseve! The store looks fantastic! I bet I could just spend hours just looking at all the products! I hope they could do the same at their branches in the Ortigas Area

That’s what my officemate Crissy’s telling me bout: L’Oreal’s Elseve! She chanced on this on her trip to Paris and told me that it is INDEED like Kerastase! I didn’t know where to get it naman til this post!

wow. i seriously think it’s a great move for watsons. now, it’ll really be the ultimate one stop shop for all vanity matters. but now that they’re new and improved, i just wish they would train their SA’s coz sometimes, the customers actually know better about the products and even what shelf they’re on. actually, most of the times.

yeah, wish they can do the same with their other branches like, say, in podium. i can stay in the store taking my sweet time just checking out all their stuff…but not when my hubby’s with me, though, hehe!
