i found this site whilst searching for a good salon to have rebonding done. it's really a big help. i also have enormously thick, frizzy, wavy hair, and after the loreal xtenso rebonding at t&j + hair manicure + fantastic cut from stylist Han 2 days ago.... viola! a new and better me! my hair is now super straight, soft and shiny. it's a steal for 5K! other salons would usually charge me 9K+ just for rebonding using wella strait, and the results are not this good. i think this is the most perfect salon in the world. ^_^ thanks ms. beautynomist!

Hey there Beautynomist! Just wanna ask if you give the Korean hairstylist a tip? I want to have my hair rebonded at Toney, and it would be the first time for me to go to a high end salon. And what is the right amount for a tip? Thanks. ... will wait for your reply..

Hi, I just had my hair treated with L'oreal X-tenso at Tony and Jackey (Timog Branch). Stumbled upon your site because I was looking for info on hair manicure. Like you, I'm very pleased with the result, not to mention the salon's rates and service. They have a promo right now where you only pay 3k for the rebonding process and 5k for a rebonding package if you also want a hair manicure and cut. They can't tell however, how long the promo will last but they've have it for 2 months already. Anyway, the L'oreal treatment made my hair smooth and straight (I have fine, wavy hair) while the hair manicure made it silky and shiny with a golden glow (I chose the yellow hair manicure shade for my brown hair). I'm loving my hair right now because it doesn't look like I got it chemically treated unlike with other types of rebonding. X-tenso is great and long-lasting with proper care, of course. It leaves hair (regrowth) looking better as well. Been having my hair X-tenso'd at another salon for years but my experience with Tony and Jackey was really wonderful. The staff and crew were nice and Jinny, the hair stylist, gave me a cut that's flattering to my face shape. That's why I'll surely go back there for retouch.

Hi.. I just got my hair rebonded for the first time, no hair coloring, and I barely blow dry my hair. I keep reading that I will loose my hair.. So I am freaking out.. is that true? and does your hair look bad when your regular hair grows back..? I payed a lot for the rebonding so I am guessing they know what they are doing..haha! I think my salon was "Going Straight" salon.

Im mixed and so like my hair is really thick and unruly. I usually get it relaxed but it never seems to last cause it gets messed up when i wake up in the morning. Also my hair doesnt seem to move when I move my head haha. Should I get it rebonded? Also if I get my hair wet when I get it rebonded do I have to do alot to get it all pretty again or can i just leave it to dry and it will go back to being gorgeous?? Please and Thankies.

I didn't have X-tenso since I felt it was weaker than the Korean rebond. I don't know it's just me. Well, damaged hair really can't deal with treatments because the hair shaft is coarse and the treatment wouldnt be able to absorb the treatment. My hair's a lil bit damaged so everytime I have my hair rebonded there, my hair just looks in good condition, not necessarily stick straight. Right now, try Smooth Intense products by Elseve. I bet it'd help your hair calm down by a bit :) Nourish your hair first :)
