I regularly indulge in face masks twice a week because of my forever acne-prone and oily skin. I mean, I know that I’ll love the fact that my skin profile is like that as I age, but heck, having open pores is like absorbing all the dirt in the world in a day!
I was able to get my hands on Zensation’s Healing and Soothing Mask. I wrote about the skin care line a week ago, and I was able to roadtest the Healing and Soothing Mask for a week, and as they say,
“A purifying, clarifying mask which visibly improves the appearance of oily and problem skin. Healing and Soothing Mask formulated with carefully chosen ingredients with plant extracts and essential oils which effectively reduce appearance of impurities and excess oil and provides an intensive cleaning and purification for oily and blemished skin.
The main ingredients safely and effectively slow and stop the growth of bacteria. Also actively prevent the spread of germs to minimize the risk of skin infections.”
The first thing I noticed about the Healing and Soothing Mask is the smell. Awww, it hit my soft spot for I am such a fan of aromatherapy scents. Some call it herby, some call it different, I call it olfactory bliss.
I applied it on my face, and it was half as thick as compared to normal consistencies of face masks there that I could almost mistake it for a moisturizer, only a bit thicker. It gave my face a cooling sensation, as I relaxed, and waited for twenty minutes. During the first use, I used a damp towel to remove the mask, and lo and behold, I saw my skin brighten by a shade ( perhaps from its purifying properties ), and feel my skin incredibly soft - and I mean really soft, perhaps the softest I’ve felt in a few years already! I was happily surprised with the result, that I resolved to use it after a day again.
During my second use, I washed it off with warm water and got the same, satisfying results. I must say that I am very very happy with this face mask, that I shared it with my sister with problem skin, too, for I saw a visible improvement in my skin - the blackheads weren’t so stubborn anymore, and inflammations were healed in a way that they weren’t angry-looking anymore.
I highly recommend this to those who who suffer from problem skin that want some calmness and relaxation. A pot of this costs about $ 100, and I believe that this company has practiced quality differentiation , that consumers who are willing to have some peace of skin ( substituting mind haha! ) and mind would want to try this, and I’m already telling you - it works!
note : the picture is a brightening mask, and it looks exactly like the healing & soothing mask, I just couldn’t find one picture online!

Hi! I have acne prone skin too, so this mask is right up my alley. I have a question though - how big is the jar? I just want to make sure I can get a lot of use out of it because it’s kind of pricey.
