I must say that I’m quite picky when it comes to fragrances and I only keep a few in my vanity table, a select few that I’m sure I’ll stick with. In other words, I am the sort of person that keeps her signature fragrances and sticks to it.

One lazy Saturday afternoon, I discovered that my bestfriend is going crazy over fragrances. It happened when I was asking if she had some cologne , and we were at her pad, and she immediately drew out numerous designer scents that left me surprised – I was only asking for good’ol mild baby cologne! She specifically asked me to try the new fragrance that she was raving about, as I saw this cute opaque, and matte pink bottle, and it turned out to be Creed Spring Flower.

I knew Creed is one of those really high-end perfumes that cost more than normal designer scents ( like Ralph, Gucci, or even Clinique ). For some trivia, Spring Flower was made for Audrey Hepburn in the 1980s, but was only released in 1996*, and M was exclaiming that this was Julia Robert’s signature scent right now.

When I sprayed it on my wrist, I now knew why it was so expensive, and why Julia Roberts loved it so much. It’s floral, alright, but in a fresh way. I didn’t smell any heavy scent that are sometimes associated with floral scents, and it was incredibly long lasting- to think that I was shy to spray alot, and it lingered until we parted ways when our night out ended!

Now, my love for fragrances are revived. I’m heading the Creed counter this week to check out more scents – they are divine!
