A Review on PurMinerals Lip Tint

My bad experience with wearing lipsticks is that my lips tend to dry up by the end of the day, and I remember that horrific experience that I could recall was trying out a very long-wearing lipstick that made my lips more chapped and dry ( I think it sort of sealed the lip color there ). I’ve learned the hard way that there are moisture-rich lipsticks in the market that don’t dry the lips too much, but there are days that I just don’t want too much drama on my lips, and want my puckers looking naturally red, and full of moisture.

One interesting product that I was given a chance to try was the Pur Minerals Lip Tint. The description below is just about what I want in a lipwear that I’d bring with me everyday,

You will never want to be without this luxurious and mineral-rich lip tint! Enhance your lips with a hint of color and a burst of intense hydration from Olive Oil, Mango Seed Extract, and Cocoa Seed Butter. Our lip tints offer intense hydration while protecting the lips with SPF 15. This formula is free of chemical dyes and is the pür-fect blend of cosmetics and nature.

More Nail Love : Creative Solar Oil

I have often dreamed of having my nails done at a salon , all the time! I mean, nothing beats a manicure done by an expert nail technician. Given the demands of my job, and the squeezed schedules I have, I have learned to resort to doing my nails sometimes – I even bought all the stuff to do my own manicure and pedicure – from nippers to buffers!

What I’ve noticed when I do my own nails is that my the skin that surrounds the nail could get really dry at times, and believe me, I do not like the look of it! I’ve just found out the way to keep the skin ( surrounding the nails ) and the cuticles well moisturized and soft – Creative Solar Oil!

My Nailscapade : OPI Lincoln At Midnight

I’ve been tinkering around my nail polish collection ( albeit a small one ) lately, and I just felt that as the weather grows colder, my sheer whites and pinks, and even my bright pinks don’t look as refreshing in my nails anymore. I felt…pale. My bronzed complexion has gone pale over the past few months as my tan wore off, and I’m paler than ever, again. To give some warmth to my hands, I reached for a dark shade, and OPI’s Lincoln Park At Midnight caught my fancy. It’s a very dark purple shade that it could be mistaken for black already. Here’s how it looks like on my hands,

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment

“Hand Cream? Bah! Why would I get a hand cream, a lotion’s just enough for anything!”

and, another one! ” Why does L bother to buy handcreams? What’s the point?”

Those were my thoughts before I ventured into the blissful, yes, oh so blissful world of hand creams! What I love right now? It’s the Elizabeth 8 Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment!

I admit, before, I never paid attention to my hands. I just started giving them the time of the day when I started collecting nail polishes , and well, I was shocked to see that my hands were dry-looking. I mean, my hands are soft and smooth on the average, and they’re not rough so I wasn’t really alarmed, but when I look at them closely, the skin in my hands looked tight and dry, threatening lines to surface if I don’t take action ( Ahh! NO! ). Now, I finally understood the tolls whenever I’d wash my hands n times a day! Continue reading

Have Those Lips Made For Kissin`!

I’m happy today! No, I’m not in love whatsoever, but I discovered a new trick to make lips more, more , more beautiful! If there is such a thing as contouring on the cheek area, or a makeup trick to make the eyes look bigger, then there is definitely a way to make the lips look more beautifully shaped!

Check out Benefit’s Cupid’s Bow Lip Shaping Set. It consists of a double-sided lip pencil, one dark colored, and one pearl-colored, and brushes to help “shape” the lips. They call the double curve of the upper lip “Cupid’s Bow”, and it is said to be a woman’s most provocative asset, if she would want to take time to define it!

Unwrinkle Your Eyes With …Venom!

I’ve been reading and hearing all the buzz that snake venom is actually a certain Hollywood star’s beauty secret! Well, at first, I got scared because heck, that’s poison in your skin, isn’t that fatal?

Good thing that I was able to read some literature that somehow enlightened me – it’s not really snake venom after all! It’s called SYN-Nake ! ( synthetic ).Scientists have found the beauty of snake venom – its paralytic effects, that is, and incorporated it to a beauty product! Continue reading

Skin Care Review : Zensation Healing and Soothing Mask

I regularly indulge in face masks twice a week because of my forever acne-prone and oily skin. I mean, I know that I’ll love the fact that my skin profile is like that as I age, but heck, having open pores is like absorbing all the dirt in the world in a day!

I was able to get my hands on Zensation’s Healing and Soothing Mask. I wrote about the skin care line a week ago, and I was able to roadtest the Healing and Soothing Mask for a week, and as they say,

“A purifying, clarifying mask which visibly improves the appearance of oily and problem skin. Healing and Soothing Mask formulated with carefully chosen ingredients with plant extracts and essential oils which effectively reduce appearance of impurities and excess oil and provides an intensive cleaning and purification for oily and blemished skin.

The main ingredients safely and effectively slow and stop the growth of bacteria. Also actively prevent the spread of germs to minimize the risk of skin infections.”

Fragrance Frenzy : Creed Spring Flower

I must say that I’m quite picky when it comes to fragrances and I only keep a few in my vanity table, a select few that I’m sure I’ll stick with. In other words, I am the sort of person that keeps her signature fragrances and sticks to it.

One lazy Saturday afternoon, I discovered that my bestfriend is going crazy over fragrances. It happened when I was asking if she had some cologne , and we were at her pad, and she immediately drew out numerous designer scents that left me surprised – I was only asking for good’ol mild baby cologne! She specifically asked me to try the new fragrance that she was raving about, as I saw this cute opaque, and matte pink bottle, and it turned out to be Creed Spring Flower.
