I always like using organic bath and beauty products, and everything natural. With cosmetics, I blog for The Mineral Makeup Blog , which is called the “inorganic makeup” because minerals are well, inorganic. Well, I have stumbled upon a really good bath and body brand, which is pleasantly , as they call it, “Obsessively Organic”, called Kiss My Face.

Kiss My Face is “obsessively organic” in the sense that it believes that the body can make do without the unnecessary chemicals and pesticides, like what we normally intake right now ( think junkfood, color additive-laden red hotdogs, and stuff ). Kiss My Face also believes that “natural is effective”, and that essential oils are more concentrated, and have more “skin affinity” that work better. Most of all, what got me impressed is their point of promoting Organic Farming – it is less hazardous to the environment to harvest organic plants than coming up with cheaper, and harmful synthetic ingredients, that release harmful bi-products that are released into the environment.

One noteworthy product of Kiss My Face is the Whenever, Wherever Conditioner. I managed to obtain a sample of this, and man, it was really timely for my hair was being harassed by anti-dandruff shampoos lately ( think selenium sulfide full of it ), and it really was getting dry for I was “cleaning out” my hair just in time for my hair rebonding and cellophane treatment – if I had dandruff in time for that, then coloring and chemicals would aggravate my hair condition more. I was iffy about using conditioners for sometimes, they cause flakes, and at this phase, i was getting picky. I remembered that Kiss My Face is an organic brand, without SLS ( sodium laureth sulfate, ) and no parabens. Great. I started using it after washing my hair from the drying dandruff shampoo.

The result? It sure helped my hair in the damage control department. My hair felt soft, moisturized, and more manageable, and I am happy to proclaim that this is the type of conditioner that you won’t be afraid of using, that it might cause you more dandruff. It’s very mild, very gentle, and it really softens the hair. I felt reaching for it everyday , but alas, my sample bottle was already all used up! I checked the price online, and at $8 for a 250ml bottle, for an everyday conditioner with all those benefits, I think the price , I think is affordable enough!

Scent-wise, I’m afraid I can’t comment since I wasn’t able to smell the conditioner from my head. Don’t worry, it feels as clean as it can be, and when perspiration occurs, no foul odor is emitted ( so that’s a relief! Haha! )

The Kiss My Face Whenever Wherever Conditioner is definitely a great everyday conditioner. Heck, I am just about to buy a bottle or two for myself. I really like upscale conditioners like Kerastase, but Kiss My Face’s conditioner would really do for everyday. It doesn’t perform an instant miracle, but I can feel it slowly nourishing the hair, one step at a time. The effect is just right, just what I want, with my hair sighing in blissful content.
