jane iredale liquid eyeliner
With my entry into the mineral makeup addicts bandwagon more than a year ago, almost all of my cosmetics have been mineral in nature. Jane Iredale is one of the posh brands of mineral makeup that makes you feel like a queen – the gold packaging just takes my breath away. Aside from the packaging ( shucks, a shallow me is surfacing haha! ), the quality is nothing short of great, too. Their foundations are superb, but I’m talking about something else right now – and it’s their liquid eyeliner.

What I love most about mineral eyeliners are their incredible staying power. I use Bare Escentuals Weather Everything Liner Sealant to seal my lashlines to perfection and dance the night away without any worries. Sometimes though, it becomes tedious as I mix mineral powder and sealant. Sometimes, I am in a hurry that I need something quicker and easier to apply- just like the traditional liquid eyeliner.

Now, I’ve been burned with liquid eyeliners – they always give me panda eyes , or goth eyes in a matter of hours. My lids are really oily that only mineral liners with sealants did well. Now, here comes Jane Iredale with their liquid eyeliner. A must-try before I totally give up.

My thoughts? It’s really easy to use, the applicator’s really fine-tipped, and the liner glides really well on my lashline, that I am able to create a very very thin line near my lashline. It only has to be dried at least half a minute to ensure that it would dry entirely ( I wouldn’t want it to smudge! ), and you’re all set.
I might commend the ergonomics of the applicator – the length is just perfect for a steady hand that you won’t have trouble applying eyeliner!

Overall, I love it. Surprisingly, it didn’t give me panda eyes at all! It stayed the whole night just as mineral liners paired with sealants. This product priced ay $20.00 is well worth it, specially if you discover that it’s purely iron oxide in nature ( no ferric ferrocyanide ) , and essential oils, instead of parabens , were used to preserve it.

Go get one now!
