I wasn’t able to watch the whole Miss Universe 2007 Beauty Pageant because I had work, and I was lucky enough to watch snippets of it. My sisters on vacation watched the whole thing and rooted for Miss Japan all the way, and I remember last year, that I found Miss Japan Kurara Chibana most spunky and alluring at the same time.
Though Miss Japan won Miss Universe this year, I would have to say that I have my own favorite contestant, and it is none other than Honey Lee, Miss Korea. Her dimples are to die for, that perfectly compliment her well sculpted cheekbones. Do I sense the Beautynomist being envious? Hahahaha! Aside from her cute, killer looks, she happens to be a phenomenal woman. A black belter, scuba diver, competitive skier, and professional player of Kayageum ( traditional Korean music ). Gosh. I have nothing to say further! Hahaha!

School’s just around the corner, and with my sister who’s in college who sadly proclaimed that her break was over, I was given the chance to give her tips and advice for keeping herself primp and prettified even when she’s in the vicious jungle called school. Yes, my sisters see me as their personal assistant and stylist extraordinaire, and I can’t believe I’m doing this for free! ( Hahaha kidding! I mean, they benefit the most from this! ) Anyway, here are some must-haves and some advice that I gave her to keep her looking fresh, and incredibly ready for school!
Summer’s just around the corner in the Northern Hemisphere, and thick, heavy makeup is officially out. Sheer finishes are the trend, including lip products. What is the ideal lip product for summer? Something light, moisturizing, and with a hint of color to give a natural, but equally luscious sexy sheen to the lips. SPF? Don’t forget about that! MAC is here again to bring their latest collection for summer, first, with lip products - MAC Tendertones SPF 12.
I admit, since last year, I have been majorly addicted to go to the beach. My problems are gone for a few days, the stress is surely left behind, and the beach just means one thing to me - total paradise. Even if I’m not in the beach, my mind has been swimming with beach tunes. Oh drat, help me get out of this mirage in the desert!
