Gosh, the heat wave that we have right now is getting the best of me. I’ve been hiding inside airconditioned rooms, and taking cold showers twice a day to freshen up. As much as possible, in this hot hot summer, I want to feel, and look fresh no matter what.
Now, it’s entirely different when someone tells you that your smile is as bright as the sunshine (which is definitely giddy-feel worthy ), and when someone tells you that you smell like the sun. “Amoy-araw”, as my native term describes it. When someone tells you that you smell like the sun, it means that you don’t smell well, as an effect of being under the sun for too long. You know what I mean. I never want to be told that I smell like the sun!
Now, this summer season, Pure & Petal’s Hair Fragrance is simply heaven sent. I want my hair smelling as fresh as possible, even in the midst of the hot weather that can make my hair smell not so pleasant. I was once weary of spraying fragrance on my hair because fragrances contained alcohol, and alcohol dries, and further damages the hair. What’s worse, remember your chemistry experiments in high school? Alcohol + heat/flame = burn burn burn! Nooo!!! Good thing that Pure & Petal does not have any alcohol in it, that I am finally trying out my first hair fragrance.
Initial reaction. Whew, it was like water in consistency. So, no alcohol after all. It felt like my Nu Skin Moisture Mist, but with fragrance. Now, Linden Blossom is one of the classiest, and freshest fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It smelled like fresh flowers, with not a trace of being artificial in fragrance, which is a good thing. It didn’t smell phoney at all, and it smelled absolutely refreshing, like I slept in a bed of roses, and my hair just caught the wonderful scent!
The scent wasn’t intrusive in any way, or even overpowering. It was very subtle, very light, and very fresh. My hair felt soft all day, and the staying power of the hair fragrance is very good – it stayed on for hours. I just had to reapply after half a day, which was fine because I was craving for the scent, and I needed moooreee!!!
Overall, how about a five thumbs up for this product?Yay!!! I look forward to reviewing the other fragrance that I got as a sample – the spunkier Summer Passion!Please stay tuned!

I love linden blossom! I buy my linden blossom fragrance oil at http://www.urbanbotanic.com/specials
I can get the oil there with other oils too. Plus they offer unscented products that allows me to add the scent to shower gel, body lotion and I think even perfume. It is great!
