philosophy falling in love fragrance I’ve never been a fragrance addict, but I do keep a really small collection of scents that I really like. I think that Neutrogena’s Body Oil is the best smelling body oil on earth, and I am endlessly enchanted by the alluring scent of Estee Lauder’s Pleasures and the classy scent of Oleo Relax from Kerastase , and even love the cheap thrill of the squeaky clean scent of Green Cross’ green variant. I keep a select few, but this new discovery, is simply amazing.

During the Philippine Blog Awards, while Roanne and I were chatting endlessly about SEO, blogs, and even makeup, I happened to sniff this really really familiar scent – reminiscent of my childhood, perhaps? It smelled like…COTTON CANDY! Gosh, I’ve been looking so hard for fragrances that smelled like cotton candy, without the overpowering scent whatsoever. And then, I asked Roanne if she could smell something nice in the area. She told me it might be her perfume, and I asked her to lemme see it – ahh…Philosophy’s Falling In Love. It smelled very light, and it made me dizzy with delight. Very much like cotton candy, but very subtle and just right for the lady’s olfcatory senses.

I found this interesting description from Johnlewis.com:
A sexy, sensual fragrance described by Philosophy as ‘a creative blend of sweet, delectable vanilla top notes, graceful floral middle notes, and musky blackberry bottom notes’.

Wooo! Vanilla, that figures the sweet sweet scent! Mixed with floral scents, it just made the sweetness not too overpowering, but feminine. Roanne, on the other hand, told me that Amazing Grace was a better scent, but heck, I’m sure getting Falling In Love the moment I get the chance to go to the Beauty Bar this coming weekend.

Happy Easter everyone!

Hi! :) I’m on a traditional cosmetics hiatus now, so I stick to mineral makeup for now ( except for mascaras and lippies ) :) Meron naba? :) I have mineral radiances to substitute that. You should try them! :)
