blinc kiss me mascara

I’ve always hated splurging extra for mascara because, let’s face it – how many times do I get to use it a week? One , at most , two. How many times a month? At most, eight. Multiply by a mascara’s shelf life, 6 months = at most, 48 usages. If I buy a mascara priced above twenty dollars ( or a thousand pesos ), then it wouldn’t be “maximizing” on my part because # 1 it would cost $3.50+ (20 pesos) to coat my lashes? ( While getting a cheaper one would only cost 16 usd cents or eight pesos ) and # 2 I wouldn’t be able to finish it anyway! Well, that’s some good thinking. Very economical, very rational.

NOT.

Because an enormous realization swept over me , since Blinc Kiss Me Mascara came into my life! Read on, and know why !

Okay, my normal issue with mascaras is that 1. They don’t last long on me 2. I get panda eyes because they smudge 3. When I cry, my tears go black. Eew. Total turnoff to use mascara. But then, mascara is said to make the eyes seem bigger, and I really need that since I’m sorta chinky eyed. Some brands were okay, worked well, and smudged just-in-time for bedtime, but then, upon stumbling to Blinc Kiss Me Mascara, I never looked back.

I was convinced by a client of mine to try this, and I’m glad I did. It was just one of my happy-go-lucky moods wherein I felt to splurge, and I’m happy to have hit jackpot with this one!

To learn about why Blinc Kiss Me Mascara is different, read up on its “Tube technology” from its website,

Kiss Me Mascara is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant “tubes” around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, the tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.

Kiss Me Mascara will add both volume and length to give you a radiant natural look that lasts all day. Only when you are ready for removal, the tubes will effortlessly slide off your lashes into your hand without the use of a harsh makeup remover.

Wow. It’s been used where mascara needs to be the best for it to be able to stay – the production site! Noted Hollywood users include J. Lo, Rachel McAdams, Lucy Liu, Jennifer Garner, and it has been used on the sets of Joan of Arcadia, Charlie’s Angels and the Cirque de Soleil! Hmm, so it must be really good.

My verdict? At first application, okay, I was actually nervous ( who wouldn’t? everyone gets nervous when a trying out a new mascara brand for the first time. ) Apply, apply, apply. Waited it to dry. Then, after a few minutes, I felt this curious urge to…touch my lashes! Hahaha! So, I did! I felt teeny weeny circles around my lashes, and my lashes were significantly thicker! They were dry, and even if I held my lashes ( sorry for being such a curious weirdo haha ), no product transferred to my fingers. Okay, to the mirror. WOW. Thick, longer lashes! Cooohoolness!

Okay, I remember the first time I used it , it was in preparation for a party. Okay, party time! After so much partying, I went home, checked myself in the mirror ( like I usually do ), and I was stunned when my mascara was still very much in tact, and even stunned ( that I almost turned into stone ) when I “touched” my lashes, and felt them really really dry, with the product really still there! Woo! Now, the problem, how to remove it. Haha!

Turns out, it didn’t pose a problem to remove the mascara on my lashes. After using makeup remover on my face, I went to the bathroom to wash my face with warm water. Lo and behold, as I washed my face, some streaks of black suddenly appeared in my hands, now , where did that come from? That was the mascara! It just self-detached from my lashes! So, being further curious, I gently exerted some pressure on my lashes to remove fully the product. They looked like thin strings of black. That was so easy! I remember the literature behind that is that even water would not make the mascara smudge or be removed from your lashes, and it was the combination of gentle pressure and warm water. There was also one instance wherein I took a shower, and I didn’t even take any effort to remove my mascara ( Maybe, I have forgotten to remove it! ). When I checked my face in the mirror, there were thin strings of black on my undereyes. They were removed, just like that! How cool is that?

To sum it up, I proudly proclaim Blinc Kiss Me Mascara as my Holy Grail Mascara. Forget the price tag. ( since it’s still tolerable, still not set on buying La Mer, okay? ) The sense of security, and the great feeling of confidence brought about by its performance far outweights the price consideration. This is one of the beauty products that I could not live without, for sure! So, let’s just say, I’m so so so sold for this! A luxury good, that would yield maximum satisfaction!

Tata for now!

Mascara is the only makeup that really intrigues me, whatever that means, lol. Maybe it’s because I’m actually insecure with my brother, who has long and curly lashes. Gaaah. Unfair!

    Will check that out. :D
