Wow, exactly me. Did they just describe me? I guess so. My skin has been stressed for decades ( okay, I’m exagerrating, I’m not THAT old! Hahaha! I’m barely two and a half decades old! hahaha! ) Well, it sure felt that way, so I think I needed some luxurious spa treatment at home.
There were two treatment gels, namely the pre-treatment and treatment gels.
The pre-treatment gel with marigold, sea kelp, and vanilla extracts promises to help pores breathe and remove impurities, and condition and soothe tired skin. The treatment gel, with arginine and magnesium, helps skin recover from stress, promotes cellular energy, and further regerenerates and hydrates the skin. The end result? Refreshed, relaxed, extremely younger skin.
My experience was a wow eye opener for me. I know, it was such a big purchase, and I didn’t even feel the pain in my pocket as I bought it because it was the Holiday season and everyone’s just feeling generous and with this , ” I deserve this” thinking. Upon receiving the item from my friend ( my friend got one too, we’re both skin freaks ), I immediately checked the tool out. Wow, I finally had a nice tool which functions as a spa treatment at home! The Galvanic Spa tool was tiny, little did I know that it would yield such impressive and larger than life results.
With my experience with the facial treatment, I washed my face, and dried it. I was told that my hands are to be moist for the treatment to be effective. Okay, did that. When I applied the pre-treatment gel, and started massaging my face with the tool, I felt like my face was a tummy - ( think ultrasound, FUNNY! hahaha! ), I massaged and massaged my face until my face was dry from the gel. Next, I applied the treatment gel and did the same thing, okay, okay, massage massage until there is no more product. Okay, done. I washed my face and checked out my complexion in the mirror.
Wow. All I could say was that, it immediately took like 3-5 years away from my face! My skin sure looked healthier, it was nowhere near the word “dull”, and do you know the feel wherein your skin just looked flat? This made my skin in 3-D again! I can almost swear my skin was more supple and younger than before. A whole lot brighter.
Never did I expect such result to happen, but I’m really really happy with my purchase because of the results it yielded on me and I’m going to be diligent enough to use this at least once a week! Whoopee!

I bought it on sale for only 10,000 ( around $ 200 ). 
I went to a “Wrinkle Party” where this product was demonstrated. The only problem I have with it is the cost of constantly replacing the viles of treatment gels at $37 for only 4 of each (two weeks worth). That could get quite costly and over time, could easily equal the cost of a face lift or some other non-invasive, equally effective medical treatment.
Not going to lie….thought this may be a gimmic, but quickly shelled out the cash for yet one more cellulite treatment. I still was not sure about the results until I had about 4 friends ask where the cellulite went on the back of my thighs. I had not told any of them I was using anything prior, but they had to know what I was doing or if I had a procedure done. I don’t use it on my face, but have religiously used it on my thighs and am very happy with the results (or just the compliments from friends).
I agree that the GALVANIC SPA seemed too good to be true–BUT ITS NOT!!! I purchased a kit when I visited a friend whom I had not seen in a few months. She had been using it & her skin VISIBALLY showed the transformation! I use it 4-5/week on my face & thighs & under arms & have gotten complements after only 3 weeks! The vials are not expensive when you stop buying the other products that DON”T work! I’m SOLD!!!

Love this product. It is AMazing…55 years old and getting younger and younger. It is much less that BOTOX (ugh) Restylane, Chemical peels .

My sister brought her Galvanic Spa on a visit and tried it on me. I ended up with a severe burn on my face. It’s been a week and my face is still swollen, red, tight, dry and feels like it’s burning. I can’t seem to keep moisture in my skin. The top layer is beginning to slough off. I went to the doctor and he said it was the Galvanic Spa treatment that had caused the reaction. I’m 58, blonde, with sensitive skin. My sister has darker skin and hair than me so guess if you’re fair, be careful!
I am 43, with skin that is starting to show some age (but not terrible)… I got this as a gift from my sister (she is a NuSkin vendor), and I must say it does work well for a few days… I only use it every other week or so, when my skin starts feeling rough. I love spa treatments, but my day-to-day routine is pretty basic due to limited time - wash and lightly moisturize - I don’t use treatment products (eye gels and whatnot), although I probably should… So this does make a difference when I use it. It might make a more lasting difference if I used it 2x/week, but I really don’t take the time to it that often… 2x/month is more like it.
Also, sometimes I use 1/2 a vial of the gels, to make them last longer… still works well with a partial treatment.
I have used the Galvanic Spa twice now. Immediate results were great: pores shrunk and face looked brighter. The next day, however, I saw more fine lines on my cheecks. Did anyone else experience this? How long do your results last? I will test out the machine for two more weeks to see what will happen(I’ll test it on my hands also) after prolonged use. If anyone has been using it for at least 6 months, please share your experience. Thanks!

Is there any alternative to the costly gels…any other brand or substitute?

I just bought this system and am also concerned with the cost of the vials. It would seem to me that each vial is more than enough for 2 treatments. With only half used, it produced a thick layer on my face and neck so why not keep for 2 uses??
I have been researching any info on this product before i buy and the comment by Sally in Feb above is the first worrying review i’ve seen.However, as a redhead i too am quite fair so am a little nervous now of buying. Has anyone else heard of or experienced the same negative reaction?
I had a treatment today. I liked it and thought it’s easy to use. They used one vial for two clients but we only did 1/2 of our face. I doubt I’ll buy just because of the expense of rebuying the gels. I doubt that you’d get the same results without the gels since it’s some sort of electron ion exchange that’s happening. It’s not that I don’t think I’m worth it, but that would end up being $60+/month and I don’t spend that much money on makeup, etc.
Well i went ahead and bought one! Have just done the first facial using half a vial of the pre and treatment gels as there is rather alot in them.My skin feels lovely and soft,though the years haven’t dropped off yet! I had to put my usual moisturiser on afterwards as my skin felt a bit tight, which is normal for me. The instructions dont say whether you need to apply pressure, any ideas? Will keep you posted on my progress.
My wife has a galvanic machine she uses in some of her facials. I’ve heard wonderous stories about how great people feel about their skin after a facial with the galvanic treatment. People are absoluty thrilled with their skin. I’ve received lot’s of facials from my wife which in itself feels good. Oh, one more thing. I keep reading about the expensive gels for the NuSkin machine. I think the key is to use any water soluable product that will penetrate your skin. Monica uses some Yonka and Bioelements products with her galvanic machine. She has a medical grade machine and not the NuSkin. So, my guess is that with the NuSkin, you could use any of your favorite water soluable moisturizers instead of the gels.
No need to apply pressure, just use a light touch.
debbie-Im responding to a comment made from sally and debbie who were concerned about a burn on the skin.the only thing i can think of tellling you is that the polarity on the machine was to high!! the polarity differs for differentskin types and different body parts, this is why its good to seek a professional for super vision, especialy when coming to bealuty or health! i am an esthetician so i know about this stuff!
Hi Chelsey.I thought that the G.Spa automatically set itself to the correct polarity for your skintype.When i use it, it initially bleeps once, which i assume means my skin is dry, as it sucks up the gel in no time.I was initially a bit mean with the gel and only used 1/2 of the pre and treatment tubes per session but now use a full one which is still all absorbed.
I hope you dont mind me asking your advice, but is the time given for a treatment for a half or full face? eg.the user cards say 2min pre and 3min treatment time.This doesn’t seem long for a full face!

I was googeling Galvanic Spa 2 nights ago and came across a diagram of how to move the machine for each area you want to work on eg.jowls or nose/cheek folds but stupidly i didn’t save the site. Could anyone enlighten me on which site i was on or knows of one that shows this picture?

I have some scaring from a chemical burn that I got about 20 years ago. I still break out and scar very easy. Does anyone know if the galvanic spa would work to help me get rid of the scars and prevent future break-outs?

My sister sold me one of these and I have to admit that it does work. When she demo on one side of my face I was shocked. I told her that she couldn’t leave me like that, so both my mother and I ended up buying one. Yes, it’s expensive, the cost was $350 dollars, but ended up being $391 with tax & Shipping. Let’s not forget $40 a month for the vials…I haven’t tried it on my body yet, but I plan to get around to that. I was very skeptical in trying it because my face is super sensitive and I just got it were it’s perfect but I had no adverse reaction to the gels. I’m 50 and I don’t have wrinkles but I did notice that it has made a big difference with just lifting my skin up and reducing my double chin.

I too am fair but have not had a problem. I did, however, notice in the manual that you are not to press to hard against your face due to the current. Could this have been the problem. It says to gently massage your face with it. The video on the website mentions that as well. Maybe you were alergic to something in the gel. I did proceed with caution as I too am fair and I have sensitive skin but it worked wonders from day one so I bought one and absolutely love the results. Crows feet - GONE !!! Bags around the eyes - GONE !!! Cheeks firmer - swollen look that I thought was fat - GONE !!! Hope you healed okay.
I did the demo and for half an hour my face and my friend’s face was totally lifted on the side that we treated - but by the time we got home it had dropped and our families chose the wrong sides as the treated sides….anyone else experience this??
