I was browsing for oh so wonderful gift ideas for Christmas, and I have chanced upon this one at Sephora dot com. For the past few years I’ve been giving away cosmetics as gifts because I’m sure my friends would love it ( I can only imagine them to their dismay if they don’t like my fashion sense Haha! ). This Lipgloss set is a great choice as a gift for the ultimate makeup lover – give her the set, or for your most cherished group of friends who love your makeup but aren’t game for splurging for makeup ( give them 1 lipgloss each, and they’ll love you forever. ). The set of colors look safe and I think that everyone could wear them well. Then…keep that oh so gorgeous gold jewel box all for yourself! Hahaha! You can give two lipglosses each to three friends, or give them one each and save the rest for yourself ( haha, I’m teaching you to maximize your Christmas budget! )

For the blush-lover, cheekstains are the way to go. This adorable set of three mini cheekstains are also perfect for the Holidays. Tarte Cheekstains are so far the best cheekstains in the market, and a mini size is just enough ( I seriously doubt these jars get finished speedily ) for a few months. If you have three friends, give them one of each of the mini cheekstains (one for the bronzer/gleam lover ( glitzed ),one for the “babydoll” of the group (tipsy ), and for the rosy cheeks lover (true love ), and boohoo for you, you don’t get a cheekstain, but you still get the pouch! Whoopee!

Now, they might look a little bit pricey when bought in sets, but if you divide them, they turn out really affordable already, if you’re really on a budget. The mini cheekstain comes out $ 10 piece, and the lipgloss comes out $5 a piece. That’s pretty good already for a Christmas budget for your pretty girlfriends! I’m sure they’ll love it because you are definitely not scrimping on the quality of your gift – it’s Tarte!

Anyway, tata for now!

I love that idea! Especially since I’m on a budget this year, and would really like to continue to give nice gifts at a fraction of the price. Hence I’m trying to make my own soap…which might be turning out to be more expensive than I realized what with buying all of the equipment and supplies to start it up. :(

Hi, Christina! Oh, wow! making soaps! That’s way cool! Love the personalized idea :) I’ve tried making mineral makeup too, but it’s so expensive to do it – with all the startup supplies, and all. :)
