aromaleigh lipgloss
When I requested for samples from Aromaleigh for my Mineral Makeup Blog, I was only expecting baggies for a week’s worth of roadtesting to be able to test on how it works, and how great it is. Little did I expect that they would give me lip products, and I’m glad they did, because I am currently so smitten with their Pure Shine Lipglosses! ( I am always tempted with lip products! puckers up! )

According to their site, Pure Shine Lipglosses are described as,

20 semi-sheer, juicy glossy shades to match your every mood.

Moisture-binding botanicals such as aloe, monoi de tahiti, olive oil, rosehip oil, and apricot kernel oil give your lips a continuous source of moisture while jojoba-based polymers bring on the shine.

I just love the shade in Buzz. It’s pink, and copper, and it’s sort of frosty. It’s a little bit darker than baby pink with a pearly frost. It glides on just perfectly – I so love the brush applicator, it reminds me of Stila’s lipglaze. The finish is incredibly beautiful, it’s not overpowering and it’s not too plain – so pretty much, this lipgloss can carry your look even if you’re feeling casual, or you’re on a nightout with friends! The staying power is very impressive – it stays on for a long time, and it doesn’t dry my lips at all. It’s not sheer, it’s semi-opaque (like half of a lipstick’s color power ), so it can be applied on top of your favorite neutral colored lipstick or just worn alone.

I also noticed one thing that mineral makeup companies make their lip products with this incredibly delectable flavor – chocolatey and somewhat orangey. With Aromaleigh, they make theirs that way, and I really like the scent! It somewhat refreshes my day!

Anyway, they have a 50% sale on these babies, for only $4.13 each! That’s quite a steal, so go shopping on their website now!

Tata for now!

[...] I have a hunch that they are really great products, though I haven’t started roadtesting them. The colors that I see on the screen are extremely tempting to look at. I have, actually roadtested their Pure Shine Gloss, which I have reviewed on my Beautynomics Blog. ( Reviews on their other products, to follow! ) [...]

I especially enjoy wearing Zest AL lip gloss.A very “my lips but better ” shade and leaves my lips so soft, never dry.

I love Aromaleigh’s pure shine lipglosses! They go on so smoothly and lightly that I sometimes forget that I’m wearing them. It’s also nice to use a product that actually softens my lips. Gosh and zen are my favorites, but there is no such thing as a bad color because you can mix them together or with the lipsticks and some pure hues that are safe to use on lips to create an endless variety of colors.

I love Sass lipgloss. The glosses are not sticky at all and go on beautifully. I have been using AL for several years and have always enjoyed their products. The daily sales, along with being able to buy generous sample sizes, are awesome! If you haven’t tried AL, you need to. Reasonable prices, too!

[...] Del.icio.usSpurlFurlSimpyBlinkDiggRSS feed for comments on this post  |  TrackBack URI for this post I could just go on and on on how much I love Aromaleigh products. Their Pure Shine Glosses arethe best, as well as their lipsticks ( review, in a week! ), and I’m just happy to have stumbled upon their Eyeshadow Primer and Base! With my dried out and nonfunctional Urban Decay Primer Potion that lasted a year on me, I was a very sad Beautynomist. It’s like, my pet that died. It’s so precious, and hard to find, and I couldn’t get one immediately because it isn’t available here. So, I was contemplating if I should get a MAC Shadestick, but the price just makes me flinch – I don’t know why. Usually I’m not particular about the price of the product, since I’m always game for quality, I just don’t know why in this case , I didn’t feel like buying MAC anytime soon though I really wanted to. Here comes my package from Aromaleigh containing a whole lot of goodies, and the Eyeshadow Primer and Base caught my eye – they answered my prayers, for an eyeshadow primer! Whew! So that Saturday, I used this prior to eye makeup application. I used my concealer brush to apply this on the lids of my eyes, and it glided just like Urban Decay Primer Potion. Well, it also felt like the “glide” and consistency of Jane Iredale’s Absence, only a bit thicker. After applying my eyeshadow, which colors showed up prettily ( even if it was just the boring browns! ), it was time to roadtest for the staying power and the crease factor. By the end of the night, I checked myself in the mirror, and voila! No creasing, and the eyeshadow stayed put. It looked like exactly like when I first applied it – to think that my lids are horribly oily (thus, nothing ever stays ), this is pretty impressive! Another thing is that I applied mineral eyeshadow in loose form – loose eyeshadows certainly need primers for them to “stick on” to to improve staying power. The product looks like it would last an entire year or more on me , considering it’s in cake form. This product is really great – and wait, when I checked the price on the website. Holy smokes – $ 9.50? It’s half the price that I would be paying for MAC, and it works just great! Definitely no tradeoff here. Yay!!! I’m a happy happy girl once again! Now, I’ve a new pet! It’s my Aromaleigh Eyeshadow Primer and Base. For those who want value for their hard-earned money, this is quite a steal already! Also check out other Aromaleigh stuff here!
