Hmmm…where do I start. The moment my “cousin” Cristine bought me a Marks and Spencer Magnolia body creme for my birthday, I became so hooked with it. Cristine was right when she told me that the smell was really ladylike, very subtle, yet with a touch of elegance and classy fragrance. It was not the flowery fragrance wherein you’d “wither” with the strong scent. They were mild, fresh flowers! Apparently, I wasn’t the only one hooked. The moment I let my mom use it, she decided then and there to order me to go to the mall immediately to buy the entire line of Magnolia Body Care! She made me buy the body wash, the deodorant, and even the body spray! I told myself to pass on the handcream since I wanted to use the body cream for that purpose as well. Well, she was that hooked with the fragrance and quality of these products!
To review, I’ll make a run-through of the products of the Magnolia products I bought :
1. Body Creme – this was a gift. A jar of lotion was so hefty that I didn’t know how I could finish it. When applied to the body, it was light, and the scent was really captivating. The moisturizing properties is okay, I didn’t expect much, but it pretty much did a great job on me! It’s not overly moisturizing, but it does give good effects! After a month or so, I realized the jar was already half full. Maybe I enjoyed applying it so much, or maybe my mom and sister shared them with me! ( that I didn’t know of ! But that’s okay! Haha! )
2. Body Wash – Oh, I just LOVE this. I bought a large sized bottle for this, and sometimes I find myself saving this for special occasions because of the smell. I love it! Everyone should try this. The lasting power is so-so, but it makes you feel really good because of the really pleasant fragrance.
3. Deodorant – I don’t know if this works well as an antiperspirant, because I don’t have perspiration problems. But the smell is a little stronger than the first two abovementioned products, and I think I’d still prefer a neutral smelling scent for deodorants like the Scion deodorant.
4. Body Spray – Who wouldn’t love a body spray that matches her body wash? I love the idea! A great-smelling me right after taking a shower sprays some more fragrance to complete my fragrance theme of the day ( being the dainty chick ! Haha! ). After all, “layering” is a very effective way to make the fragrance stay longer on you!
Anyway, even though Marks and Spencers offers tons of products, from clothes, to body care, to food, I think that their body care line is worth a try. They’re not only inexpensive, their products also come in big sizes that will definitely get you your money’s worth!
Tata for now! Happy weekend!

Juliet, this sounds RAD. are there any other scents in the collection?
Oh wow, I am running out to get some!
There are! But I love this collection best. They have TONS of scents available, you’ll get dizzy of choosing!
My 2nd favorite is the Isis one. It’s more expensive than the Magnolia
Doryngirl : You’re based in UK right?
It’s Marks and Spencer’s homebase! Whoopee!
I just wished we have M&S in Australia. I love their Waterlily range and I bought an Orange Blossom body lotion recently just because I love the bottle
