I’m updating you guys on my usage of Virgin Coconut Oil. I don’t know, maybe it really works!

virgin coconut oil

See, I’ve been intaking 2 Virgin Coconut Oil capsules a day for the past few weeks. I must say, for the first week, my cravings for binge eating ( yes, I lurv binge eating ) have been suppressed, but I have had some hunger pangs at the following times : 2:00 pm , 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm. I don’t know why, maybe it’s that I didn’t eat that much during lunch and dinner, and VCO has been “balancing” my meals. I like the fact that I am made to eat light snacks by my system ( Haha! Yes, the stomach rules when it’s hungry or not! ) . For the record, I think I’ve lost weight. See, I hate checking my weight. People describe me “figuratively” rather than “numerically”. I sometimes look fat, I sometimes look so thin. With this, people have been telling me that I seem to have lost weight! Woohoo!!!

I’ve been applying Virgin Coconut Oil on my hair every week for the past two weeks. Although the smell is hardly tolerable because I’m not a coconut person ( unless it’s coco milk, uncooked! ), I had to try to cure my dandruff caused by Opal conditioner that I so regret trying. I applied the oil to my scalp and hair and let it stand for about four hours! Gosh, I should win an award for being so patient. Well, I don’t know why VCO gave me headaches. It really did! Or was it psychological? haha! The end test result? They improved my condition, but I really could not stand to apply it on my hair and scalp for the next few weeks! The condition wasn’t totally cured, so what else should I do? I had to rely on my trusty Selsun Blue - the only thing that works on me!

So there! I’d like to say that Virgin Coconut Oil works when taken in capsules form, and it would take real patience to make it work when applied topically!

Oh, and PS! My mom LOVES Virgin Coconut Oil’s effects on her ( not necessarily the smell ). Her skin is more supple, and smooth, as opposed from her really dried out skin from previous weeks of therapy that had this kind of gel applied to her body part that made it really dry. Once she regained her good texture back, she immediately switched back to Neutrogena Body Oil! Haha!

Anyway, tata for now!

my friend and i apply VCO on our hair and scalp, does make ur scalp less flakey and your locks soft ( not the limp-soft), we usually apply VCO on friday night, so that your hair would not be sticky on monday :P
