First of all, a major shoutout to my blogger friend Renee! Happy Birthday Girl! *hugs* Wishing you tons of beauty products to come your way as we seek solace in them! Haha!

Second, back to my entry…(haha!)

laneige strawberry yogurt pack

I received a sample as a freebie from my Hongkong purchases from my good friend, Diana ( sniff, I really miss you Dee! I wanna go to Beijing already and do some pinyin with y’all! ). Since I’m on treatment, and I couldn’t immediately switch from one brand to another in the name of skin care, I had my little sister, a college freshman with the nickname of Strawberry, to try the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack. ( How cute! Strawberry tries some Strawberry facial wash! )

Now, my sister Strawberry is such a happy go lucky person that everything seems fine with her. She nods at anything, and has that nonchalant facial expression that I have trouble reading everytime! Well, I tried to ask her what her experience on the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack was.

She told me that first of all, it smelled nice, like strawberry yogurt! ( duh! ). Wow, who doesn’t want to smother strawberry yogurt on one’s face to make oneself pretty! I find that cool! Secondly, she loves the fact that it made her skin really soft, works alot like Cetaphil, but only yummy smelling and her skin being alot softer afterwards. When I tried to squeeze a good answer from her, I was surprised, and happy, that she told me, “sis, it felt like I didn’t need a moisturizer afterwards because it seemed like a facial wash and moisturizer in one.”

I was so surprised that she said those! Being nonchalant and fine with everything , I heard a good, honest to goodness compliment on skincare! Cool! She had a vain side after all!

My only question is, when does the “toning” step come in? If you use toner on a “moisturized” face, then it’d only wipe off the moisturized effect. But if you don’t tone it, you risk having some oil/dirt residue left on your face!

To sum it up, the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack is for girls who have poreless, low-maintenance skin. They give you cleansed, soft skin, pronto! I wouldn’t recommend this for open-pored or girls who are prone to zits because the “toning” step is missed, and that is an integral part of high-maintenance skincare.
