I’ve been endlessly intrigued by this new hit, and well-raved lipgloss by Revlon. It’s a shame I haven’t even bought one for myself! So, thanks to the help of my protege, Angel, whom I’ve immensely influenced to the world of cosmetics, she even went ahead of me and tried it herself! Now, I love spreading my love to the world, and I’m glad she caught some! Haha kidding! Well, here’s her review :
Angel says :
It was my mom who bought this lip gloss for me during her recent trip to Hong Kong. I originally ordered for a Lancome Juicy Tubes but she bought this instead since it was less expensive than the former. The ones she brought me came in a set of 4 shades—there is Nude Lustre, Shine City, Toast to the City, and Pink After Glow.
The Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss is priced lower compared to its competitors but it doesn’t mean that the quality is lesser. Talking in an economic sense, it is actually a perfect substitute without having to resort to an inferior good. I just tried using it recently and I must say, it is a good buy.
Its packaging makes it quite handy. It is a great stowaway in the purse or whenever you are on the go. You don’t want to display to the open public your beauty secrets right? Even if you have a small purse, it is a keeper. As regards applying it, it is no hassle like other cheap, low-quality lip glosses around. It goes with a wand like other lip glosses in the market. Unlike other lip glosses I’ve tried in the past, this is one of those glosses that I like with regard to fluidity. It is not too jelly nor is it too liquid. It is just right. It makes it easier for me to apply it on my lips. And true to its name, it actually gives super lustrous shine. My lips looked shiny but still, not too overwhelming. It gives a dewy finish or glittery effect, depending on the shade you’re using. For example, right now, I am using the Nude Lustre. I’ve noticed that even if it is a nude shade, it doesn’t make one look pale. It actually brings life to your lips. It is also long lasting, so I think my mom has made a right choice in showering me with these lipglosses!
The Beautynomist’s Thoughts: Well, there you go! I’m amazed that Angel transformed from “I’m indifferent towards makeup” to “oh wow! makeup!” This is amazing, and I’m actually happy because she is such a beautiful girl! Did you notice her use of Economic terms? Just so you know, she was my blockmate and thesismate in college! Hahaha! I breezed through college thanks to her. Kidding!!!
Tata for now!

oooh…I’ve had mine for a year and a half now, and I love it! The one I have is in Raisin Glaze, very natural looking, but gives your lips a kick of color.
iam super loving my Revlon SL Cherries in the Glow
