Kerastase is one of those brands wherein you don’t mind spending more because you know the results you will get from using their products will be more than satisfactory. It’s one of those high-end brands which doesn’t disappoint you why they charge higher. In Economics, products like these don’t adopt “price differentiation” and compete in terms of prices. Kerastase adopts a quality-related differentiation. Their prices are higher than the normal hair care brand, but they offer a “premium” with Recherche Avancee ( high technology based research straight from their labs in Paris ) for their hair care products.
Anyway, for those with frizzy hair, don’t you just hate it? I know, I do! I’ve had my hair rebonded last year, and I just loved the sleek look. But as if wore off, I felt my hair bloating again ( Haha! ), so I had to reach more for an anti-frizz product.
The Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum can last you a long time because a pump of product is all you need. Its consistency is like a light oil, and when applied to your slightly damp hair ( 75%dry? Hehe ), will promise you a sleek, no -frizz hair the moment your hair dries. The scent is another story for Oleo Relax. For me, among the Kerastase products, Oleo Relax’s scent is the best. It’s very feminine, and sexy at the same time. Some people compare it with Elizabeth Arden’s flowers. I’ve also been told that the scent of this serum just makes guys gaga over you. ( Hahaha! Well? )
The Oleo Relax Serum, when paired with the Oleo Relax Masque, will bring great results, but if you’re just after a hair styling product, the serum will be perfect for you. For those with frizzy hair, it will help tame your hair and bring it down a little without making it look limp, greasy, and lifeless – the product is very light. If your hair is rebonded, relaxed, and straightened, it will definitely keep your straightened hair in its best shape – sleek and smooth. For those who had their hair permed, this is also great. Sometimes, curls tend to frizz too, and look disastrous when not taken cared of, or simply, if the weather hates you. I’ve recommended this to my friends who have normal hair, rebonded hair, and permed hair, and they all love it! I think I can be spokesperson for Kerastase one day ( Just kidding! ), but really, this is one product that you shouldn’t be afraid to splurge for. Definitely a keeper!
P.S. for really impossible-to-manage overly thick, frizzy hair, a thicker version of the serum is the Oleo Relax Elixir. It’s for those with mega to the nth power frizzy hair. At least, everything’s got a solution!
Tata for now!
