blog_beautynomicsBefore I start my entry, I’d like to happily announce that Urban Apothecary and Beautynomics have tied up to give you a great promo - Buy $100 worth of Urban Apothecary cosmetics and get $20 off! Now, isn’t that a great deal? Just simply click on the link on the left, and it’ll take you to their site. Now why is this such a great deal? Read on!

Not until recently that I have discovered a great brand, called Urban Apothecary. Urban Apothecary prides itself to be called spa cosmetics, or “cosmetics that act as skin care”, using ingredients from nature such as antioxidants, vitamin c, e, shea butter, pure plant extracts and mineral pigments, that give the skin nothing but a pure, satisfying treat.

According to Cheri Rychlee, owner of Urban Apothecary,

“Urban Apothecary is also the first cosmetics company on the market to utilize a blend of Australian flower essences to enhance self esteem and confidence as well as balance the mind, body and soul. “

First of all, I love their website! Everything looks so neat, and the packaging’s really attractive. Not only that, it has received great press from the United States, to Paris, to even Hong Kong. Satisfied celebrity users include Brooke Shields, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, and so much more. Now, isn’t that cool?

urban apothecary supernatural mineral sheer tint

On my list of lemming (LOL) from their website, is the Supernatural Mineral Sheer Tint. According to the website :

Exclusive multi mineral tinted foundation destined to make other foundations obsolete! The liquid minerals contain advanced skin-matching pigments to truly cover imperfections and enhance your own natural skin tones. The result: glowing skin with a healthy, translucent finish. The revolutionary airless titanium pump keeps foundation fresh. Perfect coverage, perfect color, perfect finish, and perfect packaging. SPF 20.

It’s a tinted moisturizer that is also mineral makeup. Me being a strong advocate of mineral makeup, this is just great because I would want something sheer on my skin during my lazy days, but I’d love to spare myself of the shine and blotchiness. To add, my skin wouldn’t suffer from the process. Mineral makeup lacks some “heaviness” that I truly appreciate.

I’m placing an order on their Supernatural Mineral Powder because I’m in need of a good pressed powder. (Reviews, to come the moment my package arrives. ) Perhaps the Supernatural Mineral Tint would stay in my LOL ( List of Lemmings ) before the year ends. After all, I haven’t finished my tinted moisturizer! Some more visits to the website, and I just might make an impulsive purchase ! Ahh!! Help! Hehe.

You can also check out Shannon of A Girl’s Gotta Spa’s list of lemmings on her site! She seems to love UA’s lipwear!

Tata for now!
