I think our beauty-related consciousness started the moment we hit puberty. Psychologically, we are wishing that we would blossom into beautiful men or women, that we are lured by countless products in the market that promise to beautify and keep us on the right track to our goal. Physically, hormones rage, and this is the stage wherein some of us develop acne, or other skin problems, so we need all the help we can get.
The Philosophy Schoolbook is the perfect starter skin care set for teenagers. The name’s actually cute! “Schoolbook”, as if you’re doing some homework ( Ahh…I miss school! ). Your homework for the day would include indulging yourself in this very healthy skin care regimen - starting with deep cleansing the skin with Purity Made Simple, then applying On a Clear Day H202 , a treatment that aims to keep acne-causing bacteria at bay, then, wearing The Present Clear makeup, a very sheer kind of makeup that just hides some pores, and keeps face impossibly matte and fresh all throughout the day, and lastly, finishing off the look wearing the Kiss Me Red, an “emollient” lipbalm that nourishes and moisturizes the lips, plus giving it a hint of redness for pretty lips.
Do the homework, as instructed, everyday, and your A would come in the form of clear, brighter, and beautiful skin! Now, isn’t that a great payoff? I wish that would be my ONLY homework for the rest of my life! Woohoo!
Philosophy skin care products are very good - they just give the best results for problem skin, and earned TONS of rave reviews for their skin care, and even makeup, over time. So, this is safe enough for a teenager to use - no need to fret or worry that products might be too harsh for him/her.
I just thought of something cheesy. So, if this was given a chance to have a commercial, the mom sees her kid walking to the bathroom, and asks her what she’s going to do, and the kid answers, “to do my homework, ma!” Hahaha! I thought that was hilarious. Or maybe not. Haha.
So, if you are a teenager, go bug your mom for a skin care regimen like the Philosophy Schoolbook. I’ll help you justify - tell her, “ma, it’s a great investment for clear skin! I don’t want to lose my confidence ya know? ” ( moms, please don’t get mad haha! ). If you’re a mom, and you have a teen boy/girl, guiding them with the proper skin care regimen would give them a precious gift - the gift, of clear skin. Not only that - ultimately, the gift of self confidence, which is crucial.
Anyway, tata for now!

I just saw this stuff at Sephora yesterday, and I. Want. It! No, I’m not in school anymore… I don’t think that should matter. This kit is too adorable not to have.
I was just wondering what size the products are. I checked out the Philosophy web site and I couldn’t find the info anywhere.
