Thanks to my lovely friend Diana , who gave me this wonderful Biotherm Anti-Drying Lip Treatment from her recent trip to Hong Kong, I have found a great lippie again! This time, this is not my daily lipgloss. This happens to be a part of my night regimen.
The Biotherm Anti-Drying Lip Treatment, when applied to the lips, is colored white, just like a lotion applied to the skin. Thus, it is “lotion” for the lips - giving intense moisture, protection ( SPF 5), and comfort for chapped lips. I prefer using this during night time, because the A/C ( air conditioning unit ) usually dries our skin, even our lips. I have this frequent tendency to have chapped lips, so I need all the lip treatments I can get. It can also be worn under lipstick during normal days.
What’s so good about this is that, it really works fast! After a day, I could definitely feel my lips not so chapped anymore, and on Day 2, my lips are totally un-chapped , without any trace of dryness! I was a little bit incredulous about the results. If Kerastase is my miracle worker for the hair, this might well be my miracle worker for the lips! I love it!
I’ve read some literature about Biotherm, and it is said that they have a patented secret ingredient, that was discovered from the thermal springs found high in the Pyrenees mountains, that nourishes and rejuvenates the skin. Biotherm products are made “to work in sync with skin’s own natural biology to leave it softly radiant, beautiful and healthy-looking.”
Priced at $ 12.00 (P 600 php) , this is not so expensive, yet not so inexpensive. This time, I am saving money from using super high end brands, and saving money from being lost from trying more inexpensive products that won’t work for me. It’s a pleasant balance of both.
This week has been good, I’ve been trying really good products. I can definitely feel that it’s my month!
