Kerastase Reflection

kerastase reflection

Do you want your hair to be as brilliant, and shiny as a mirror? Or perhaps like a lovely reflection by the river? I know we all have our secret admirations when watching shampoo commercials of models with silky, shiny hair, that they sparkle like diamonds, when their hair are touched by sunshine. Well, we are so lucky that it’s one hair care regimen away. Continue reading

Proactiv Solution : Say Byebye to Acne

I’ve been seeing Proactiv everywhere, being sold on TV, malls, and even the internet, its aggressive marketing strategy includes getting “it” Hollywood stars to endorse them. Vanessa Williams, Jessica Simpson, Brooke Shields, Kelly Clarkson, Elle Macpherson, and recently, press favorite Lindsay Lohan ( reading it from Ebeautydaily ) joins the bunch as spokesperson for Proactiv. Wow.

Carson Kressly of Queer Eye Co-Hosting Miss Universe 2006

So, okay, I’m totally green with envy as my friend, Diana, of Chocobay went to Alabang Town Center ( one posh mall, I must say, love it ), to watch “Fab Five in Manila”, wherein the complete cast of America’s hit reality TV show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” is there to talk about their experience in their three day stay in Manila, as well as a question and answer portion with the audience. So I had to squeeeeze her for all the buzz she got there! Haha! :)

The Deal About Eyelash Curlers

eyelashesSome people have been asking me why I would splurge that much for an eyelash curler. Some give me incredulous looks when I tell them how much it is, and so much more. Goodness. Are they serious? ( Now, I’m the one who’s incredulous! Hahaha ).

I mean, it isn’t the price, you know, if I could find a good one for a dollar, why not?

Ergnomics. Yeah, that flashy jargon term that my best bud studies in her Industrial Engineering class can still be applied to the beauty industry!

Beautynomics is on Coutorture!!!

See, I’ve got a penchant for mixing together two words. Beauty + Economics. I’ve come across another - Coutorture - can anyone guess? I’m guessing Couture + Torture. Totally witty! Fffierce name!

Not only has it got a ffffierce name, it’s also one of the biggest fashion communities in all the parallel universe of the vain in cyberspace! :)
Coutorture, is described as :

Coutorture gives fashion lovers news and commentary in one convenient location. Integrating fashion blogs, online magazines, and exclusive media content, all while promoting a community based on active participation, Coutorture is the new destination for online fashion.

And Beautynomics, my baby blog, is proud to announce that we got IN! :)

Oh, good vibes, good vibes, you are most welcome in my system!

cheers

Cheers!

Bourjois Lipgloss Cell Charm Accessory

As I was browsing the oh-so-reliable W.W.W. ( World Wide Web ) for great finds, I suddenly found something that my very vain college sister would surely love. She’s one lipgloss and lipbalm addict, and she has like a huge container full of glossies that she “preserves” in the refrigerator.

Her love for lipgloss is just like someone’s love for her own puppy. Hahahaha.

Her love for the sassy comes to the point that she wants glossies as accessories to her mobile phone.

And I’ve found it! Isn’t this the cutest thing, ever?

bourjouis

The Effet 3D Mobile High Shine Lip Gloss Cell Charm Accessory is one of the wittynovative ( witty + innovative ) products of the cool up and coming makeup brand, Bourjois. It’s just $9! Good enough! :)

This is the mini version of their very popular Effet 3d lipgloss, that can be attached to any mobile phone via the cute charm.

Oh my gosh? Now you never have to leave your home without your absolute essentials! And if ever you leave your purse behind, you’ll always have your lipgloss to retouch!

I’m definitely giving her one or two shades of this! She’d thank me for her new fashion statement! haha :)

Project Makeover : Elliott Yamin

elliott yaminBoy, oh boy, oh boy, it’s my weekly American Idol Special! :) And this week, my feature is none other than one of my angels, Elliott Yamin. ( The other one’s Clay Aiken, whom I featured earlier.)

I believe way back, I was reading Musebay - American Idol Blog ( My American Idol fix ), and she was ranting about our local DJ commenting that Elliott won’t win American Idol because he looked like a retard. Right then and there, I wanted to strangle that stupid DJ. No, my nails! Hmm…I wanted to find a weapon to do violence on that DJ…err..my weapons are my makeup brushes, and lipstick. Oh, nevermind! Some people do not understand that people gifted with such beautiful voices are angels from heaven, still cloaked with mystery. The moment you reveal the real them, they’re absolutely beautiful physically, that matches perfectly with their beautiful voices. Look at Clay Aiken. ( Not much to say, just look! haha :) ) If I were a Hollywood stylist, I’d absolutely grab the offer to do a makeover on Elliott Yamin. Because I know, he is a star!
